The best way to coin it and really, the only way, is like this:

"Does it look good in use?"

if the answer is yes, then who cares if it's upscaled/frame generated or not. If the tech was auto enabled and no settings screen existed telling someone it was on or off, then I'd say 99% of the time people would be blissfully unaware that the game wasn't even running at "native" in most games purely because the quality now is so good.
Oi you swine! Don't start talking sense and being logical/rational!!!

Sad though isn't it mate, if you like what you're system has achieved on the balance of fps/stability/visuals and you're enjoying the game, literally WHO cares what someone else's stuff does or doesn't do!?

Crap game to performance metric against the latest hardware. Seems to have well reported performance issues.

It looks like total crud, shadows that are blocky, even Witcher 3 Next Gen looks better for actual RTGI and overall ray tracing effects, and that runs nearly twice as fast on a 4090 than this does lol.

Unreal Engine laziness optimisation by devs strikes again.

Funny shadows, around 11:20 he starts smashing boxes which have long shadows from the sunlight and when he hits the box, what should happen is that each fragment of wood, or at least a basic estimation of it, should show moving shadow while the wood is flying through the air but what happens is as soon as he hits the box the shadow the box was casting instantly disappears lmao

I think this year Robocop will be the only well optimised UE5 game tbh. The demo runs amazingly well even without upscaling, even better with upscaling though and for once, XeSS looks excellent on it on an Nvidia card lol.

£18, what have you got to lose to experience for yourself? Probably be an upgrade over your 7900xt in most games tbh :p

The ultimate tier is rated extremely highly by people who are on it (as long as your internet isn't peasant level) and some of the brief reviews (which are old and didn't have the higher bit rate and they had a preview/early version) even rated as being superior to local console gaming lol......

Still waiting to hear people slate how utterly awful netflix, disney and amazons streaming is given it is streaming at a considerably lower bit rate than ultimate ;)

Not sure why people are getting their panties in such a twist over it, because "nvidia bad!!!!!" again? :o

Beats paying £1000+ to play 1 game and sure as hells beats paying/rewarding amd for dated tech and well as shown, it is a hell of a lot better than console gaming lol.

Price has already gone up. Already £20. Will be £30 by the time I am interested, at which point I won't be interested. Lol.

Knew I would not last long at £18. But even I didn't think it would be this soon.

Even if it were to go up to £30, still better value than every current gpu on the market

Every gpu ******** the bed with UE 5 so pretty much all gpus are obsolete in my eyes now.

Couldn't bring myself to pay £30. Rather just game one setting lower. £18 was a nice price. But it did not last long :p
