LOL 32.8FPS DLSS OFF and with fake frames DLSS 3.5 134.4fps ? seriously 4x fake frames ? on a £1600-£2000 GPU ? not even going to talk about the other 2 gpus there as that's just as bad a joke.

Game looks good but the performance and the gimmicks with DLSS 3.5 is now taking the micky... coming soon games that run at native 5fps and with DLSS 3.5 will hit 60fps.. DLSS 4 will 2x 4x that too soon but on 50 series... Nvidia ....

TBF, the path tracing looks to be even more intense than cp with 3 bounces?

I Don,t know if you are correct or not but I have completed so many games on console over many years. If they are doing as you say its very well done as sitting back on my couch to my eyes I have not noticed. Most games I play on Ps5/Series x are SP RPG. Usually they have a 60fps mode as well. I don't sit and analyse every single frame, I play the game and most have looked great. I think gamers like you forget the art of gaming is to enjoy the experience. Go play Gow Ragnarok and stop looking for issues with a games visuals. I play on all systems and can tell you most ps5 exclusives look better than most PC games while rarely ever crashing. Even load times on both top consoles are top notch.

Ah well you're in the wrong place. OCUK PC gamers don't actually play games, they just sit in photo mode analysing how light refracts off certain surfaces.

To me Sony games mainly come polished and very rarely crash. They seem finished unlike a lot of PC games. It's the same on Nintendo when i play there exclusives they usually come out when they are ready to be played unlike multi platform games that are PC's main stay for AAA. They seem like Beta's at best.

Have to agree. Had a PS4 Pro and a Switch and every game I played was super polished and bug free.

Lately on PC you need to wait a few months to get the game where it should be on release. In some cases 3 years and still full of bugs aka Cyberpunk 2077

That said I am not that bothered about bugs for the most part. I only buy what I consider must play games on day 1 anyway. Most games I get are not day 1 so bugs are usually sorted by the time I buy the game at a huge discount. .

Yea i do have patience for bugs and can look buy them if the games good enough. I don't have the patience you do for waiting on a game though. I am usually thinking about the sequel after finishing the game before hahaha.

If I had nothing else to play I would probably feel the same. Not easy trying to keep up with steam games from piling up. Luckily the list is not that big for me, but I also enjoy replaying old games so that sometimes means games pile up again suddenly.

Currently playing Resident Evil 4 DLC and starting Wasteland 3 which I picked up on the cheap.

Also going to try Red Dead Redemption 2 again for like the 4th time. I managed to get passed the bank robbery mission this time by not getting too greedy in the vaults. That mission killed it for me as there was a mandatory 5-10 minute long ride and **** talk leading up to the mission which was soul destroying every time you died. Can't stand that about that game. If I die I don't want to ******* waste time listening to the same crap over and over again. Just put me back to the start of the ******* mission or give me a quick save!

Can I also add that with all the games I own on the PS5 that are on PC as well for the sony games, I've paid less on my PS5 versions then Steam has ever done for said games even on a steam sale.

I purchased Ratchet and clank for like 14 quid, I bought GOW ( not ragnarok ) for £5, horizon FW for £17, mean thats not even out for PC yet and thats gonna be £60-£70 on release.

Theres very few games I ever buy on release and Final Fantasy games tend to be those.

Aside from FF16, the mentioned games play far more polished then so many PC games I've installed lately.

So far the most bug free game I have still on PC is World of Warcraft just in general.

PSN sales are also more aggressive then Steam these days for AA and AAA games.

I turned the FPS counter off recently in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Whacked the settings to max and pressed play. Quite enjoyed myself, More people should just turn the FPS counter off and play the actual game.
