The Rumour Mill, who do you want/think your club will sign/sell this summer

My 200 Post :D :D :D

Why. Think about it, both players are owned by a media company (MSI) rather then a club. A media company that is rumoured to be funded partially by a chairman of a certain London football club who play in blue. Both players attract interest from this clubs rivals. This club doesn't want to take them on quite yet since they've got those position covered but at the same time don't want their rivals getting them. What better way then to loan them for a season to a mid-table team who are unlikely to be challenging for the title.

Was reading an other website and ofund this:

Just found this on another website: "My suspicions lead me to a somewhat shadier deal being cooked up between the players' club Corinthians, their owners MSI and another club with shady links to MSI and their owners. It's long been rumoured that Roman Abramovich is the money man behind MSI and the reason that a broke Brazilian club like Corinthians could afford players like Tevez and Mascherano in the first place. It leaves no doubt in my mind that Chelsea and Roman are behind this proposed season long loan deal for the two Argentinians to West Ham and it's only for one purpose - to acclimatise the players to London and the Premiership and see whether they are worth signing for Chelsea properly next summer." Doesn't seem that unlikely does it???? Chelsea have previously signed players and instantly sent them out on loan - for a season or two. There is NO logic in either player joining West Ham when Man Utd and Arsenal were interested in them. If Roman & Co are indeed behind this, it's a case of preventing a major competitor from signing them and then seeing if they are worth signing. Watch as both join Chelsea in January or next summer!!!

Of course the big clubs are/were interested. However MSI have refused the deals as they are looking at big % sell on fees to Chelsea.

I wonder if Pardew will be dropping English players for these foreigners....

Yes gives Chelsea a nice chance to see how they'll do in the Premiership without making any commitments or even signs of interest.

West Ham should rename Upton Park to The Falkland Islands, as it's clearly the new target for Argentine mercenaries.

argh the plot thickens... if these rumours about RA being behind it are true then im very sad that west ham are allowing themselves to be chelseas bitch... and it annoys me that english players are gonna end up getting dropped... all to serve chelseas interest? anyone who is caught aiding and furthering chelseas boring football should be shot... :p

RA is most certainly behind this. Chelsea do not want the players now and they don't want Arsenal and Man U to sign them this year.

The only way out of it is to loan them out for a year using RA powers. A good move again is to loan them to West Ham as this will allow Chelsea to see how they adapt to England and the English game.

If they settle and prove to be fantastic then they will play for Chelsea next year. If they fail to settle, they won't bother and the likes of Arsenal & Man U will be put off also.

This is a very sneaky move by Chelsea and one that should be clamped down on but then again, I don't mind as long as they aren't playing for Chelsea, Arsenal or Man U this season. :)

Perhaps a little anti RA, but do I care :p
Bah, that article is 18 months old, it's since been revealed that David Dein, Malcolm Glazer & Randy Lerner are behind MSI.
