The Rumour Mill, who do you want/think your club will sign/sell this summer

Trust me. You can.
Maybe not with a lot of footballers, but he wont be sold. Ever.

I think you must be dreaming to think that there is no possibility of him leaving. Firstly football has become a business and money talks now, every player has a price and Chelsea can match whatever that price is. Secondly anything in football can happen; president/chairman or manager could leave and could decide that the money they can get from Sheva will be able to fund 3 or 4 players they think they need. I honestly think that if Benitez could get away with it (ie not **** off the fans) he would have sold Gerrard to Chelsea, not because he didn't rate him but because he would have felt that he could have been able to build a whole team with that money they would have got. And thirdly the only way you would know for a fact that he is settled is if you knew him, so do you?

Perfect example of anything being possible is Fowler joining Leeds; he was loved by the fans, he loved the club, he'd lived in the area all his life, as far as i know he had no problems with the board. Before Houllier turned up i wouldnt have thourght he would have ever left, but Houllier didnt think he fitted in his plans so he sold him. Now it may well be very unlikely that Sheva will ever leave, but like i said earlier, until he retires i wouldnt bet against him joining Chelsea.

I think its his beard tbh

I would prefer another good young English midfielder who can tackle

Reo Coker me thinks

You would take Reo Coker ahead of Gatusso (probably the best defensive midfielder in Italy)?
Why do people say Gatusso would struggle in the Premiership, he played in Scotland for Gods sake! Thats rougher than the Premiership!

Obviously not, otherwise they wouldnt have gone running when Tevez was valued at £90m. :p
Despite what people think, Chelsea arnt stupid, and wont stump up rediculus amounts for a player just because a club thinks they can take them to the cleaners.

Just look at it logically rarther than living in the world that the English papers have made up. ;)

I know, playing away at Livingston is a real killer. :p

Gattuso would be absolutely bloody perfect for us. Rooney is shaping up to be Scholes replacement with the way he plays for us. If he played just in front of Gattuso in midfield that would be some partnership with 2 strikers up front. There are quite a few possibilities with Rooney in the team. :)

Because G|mp has a natural hate of Milan, so even if Gatusso was the better than ReoCoker, then he'd still pick Coker over him. :p

We definitely need a defensive minded player in midfield, I really wouldn't say no to someone from the Keane mould if they exist. I think Carrick would be good but then again there will be no quality player alongside him unless we get a player like Gattuso or Diarra as well.

Has anyone heard the rumour about why Ruud and Fletcher have not featured much in this latter half of the season? It could be a lot of balls but I'd really love to believe it. Well it's no secret that Ruud can be a lazy so-and-so in training when he wants to be, and he's had verbal arguments with Keane and Ferdinand before. Apparently Fletcher had a pop at him during training one day, saying something along the lines of not pulling his weight. Ruud doesn't take it too well, especially coming from someone like Fletcher, so he has a go back at him. They both exchange compliments..... Then they get into a proper fist fight and Ruud sparks him out with one punch.

Ferguson dishes out a 5 match ban as punishment, Ruud throws a strop and takes it really badly. They fall out. Ruud rots on the bench, Ferguson is not too pleased with the way Ruud has taken his punishment and is now unofficially for sale. Fletcher is no longer Ferguson's prodigy and has been sitting on the bench a lot with no real explanation given.

If it's true, it would explain a lot of things. God, I would love to punch Fletcher.

Odd to say, but if you combined the best bits of Ruud and Fletcher together you'd have one really amazing player.

whats all the hype regarding Tevez...?

90m...

jose playing football manager again
Dunno.
Ive never been impressed by Tevez, but rumor has it that Chelsea were notified by Corithiens (spelling) that it'd take £90m to get him, and aparentely Chelsea decided not to bother.

I think the point was the the SPL is just as physical, if not more so, than the EPL.

I know what point he was trying to make. :p I don't watch a lot of the SPL, but the physical side of the EPL this season would take some beating.

Gatusso would be perfect for United, just the type of player they need.
And would make an excellent captain for them.
United need someone who can do some hard graft, like Keano did, and Gatusso would seem like the perfect replacement.
His experiance in Europe, and his style of play, would suit United down to a tea.

How very dare you!! :p I think if you combined Ruud with a dog you'd get a better player than with Fletcher. ;)

lol.
Physical side? lol.
The Championship is more physical than the EPL! :p

Regardless, im sure than some of the supposid 'hard nuts' in the EPL would struggle matching up to how physical Gatusso is. He is, basically, an old style English player anyway. :p

I'd say that a bid for Ambrosini or Poulson would be good for United. Both can do a bit of grafting, and are in the same mould as Gatusso. More likely to get one of them two players tbh.

lol. I'll see what i can do. :p :D

Seriously though, i do agree with people when they say that he's just the player to kick start United again. Literally with Rino.
Poulson would be worth a look at, going on a free from Schalke04...
