The Rumour Mill, who do you want/think your club will sign/sell this summer

Not at all, you'd have a phenomenal goal-poacher who has endless energy!

I'd rather mix Ruud with Rooney and see the resulting player. Fletcher does have amazing stamina though, must have something to do with not doing much during the 90 minutes though.

Whens Scholes back anyway?

Apparently, he's back in training, his vision isn't 100% though, 1 eye is still a little blurred but I would expect him back for the start of next season. I don't know if this is going to be a good thing though, it may put Ferguson off buying the midfielder the team really needs. And I have no idea whether his heart is still in it anymore.

Its a shame really, he was an excellent player, and can potentially, still be one.

Obviously not, otherwise they wouldnt have gone running when Tevez was valued at £90m. :p
Despite what people think, Chelsea arnt stupid, and wont stump up rediculus amounts for a player just because a club thinks they can take them to the cleaners.
Oh yea, Chelsea didn't pay £24m for Drogba when he was offered to Pompey for £1.4m the previous season , Chelsea didn't pay £21m on SWP, or £22m on Essien, or £17m on Duff when Souness said himself after he left Blackburn that they would have accepted £12m from another club. I was dreaming?
Its also amazing how you seem to know that Chelsea won't pay £90m for Tevez or if that figure is correct, or did you get that from the same world that the english papers have made up?

Ive got to say that you are by far the most argumentative person ive come across on here.
Everyone has moved on from the Sheva discussion and are discussing other things. I suggest you do the same, because you'll be arguing with yourself from here on in on that subject.

I haven't been argumentative, i just don't think you like it when either your proven wrong or someone says anything bad about Milan. My previous statement was nothing about Sheva, it was querying your statement that Chelsea spend there money wisely and everyone seems to be brain washed by the english press. You going to need to lighten up a bit and not take offence from a debate.

i thought the gist was that tevez moved for $18 million to corinthians?, and that he has an $87 million but out clause in his contract, so to chelsea, they would be looking at £40-50 million depending on the exhange rate!

man utd need to ship out RVN, and sign a quality forward and a quality midfielder or two, because we desparately need 2 center mids, as we may see tomorow vs charlton.

lol.
:p

Im betting on RvN goin Inter myself. Especially if Adriano leaves for either Chelsea or Madrid.

If anybody is scouting young forwards.. how come Torres seems to be low key...

Only Newcastle and Arsenal have really said anything about him.... surely Torres should be looked over Tevez

I know that Juve are looking at him as a replacement for Nedved (i think, might be another player im thinking of).
Milan have shown interest in the past afaik as well.

Im not sure Torres would fit in at Chelsea myself.
Maybe at United, or Liverpool though.

I wouldnt be suprised to see some of the 'bigger' teams make some offers for LucaToni. He's be able to be snapped up for under £18m, and would definatelly be worth the money.

The press keep linking him with all the top clubs; i wouldnt be suprised if he came to Liverpool in the summer, we need a top striker, have the spanish connection and according to the spanish guy on sky, he is going to leave this summer.

It is. Try it sometime. ;)

I'd be surprised if Liverpool bothered making a bid tbh, Torres would probably have a £20m price tag on him.

liverpool wont spend that much on one player.. they are already lining up several buys so i doubt they could manage buying torres.

Doubt we (newcastle) will buy him, i think £20m can better spent on the squad if that sort of money about.

If henry goes, arsenal will definitely buy torres. I cant see torres moving anywhere else in spain either...

will be an interesting one, considering his "love" for athletico and their price tag for him....

a lot cheaper than tevez though.. so i wouldnt rule chelsea out...

I laught quite a lot actually, come to think of it lots of your posts make me laugh (don't worry its a joke, i think we better end it because its much to do about nothing). Anyway......

A couple of pages back i said i thourght that Liverpool would have at least £30m (more if they can get this investment stuff sorted) after sales to buy 2 strikers (with 1 being top class player and 1 either young in-experience or old) and a RM. As for the price tag; in spain there transfer fees usually are dependent on success etc or staggered over time (like Reyes to Arsenal, over "X" years i think it was something like £25m but only £5m up front, iirc). Also, again according to spanish guy on sky, they would be looking at somewhere close to £15m as he will only have 2 years left on his contract.

At most they will sign 2 strikers, RM, CM and a LB. That is presuming Hamann, Traore, Nando and Cisse leave. Again as i said a few pages back, it looks like we are going to sign Aurellio (LB) from Valencia on a free and won't spend a great deal on a CM as we have Gerrard, Sissoko and Alonso already. So really only leaves 3 players to spend any real amount of money on.

I think Henry's stay at Arsenal will depend on if they win the Champions League. Like Gerrard did.

Its funny really.
In a way, the winner of the final gets both the CL trophy, the title of the best in Europe & Henry! lol.
