Andrei Shevchenko could finally be ready to give in to the lure of roubles at Stamford Bridge, with The Independent suggesting that Chelski's fourth move for the Ukrainian will be successful. Shevchenko himself is said to be warming to the idea of the massive wages on offer, while Milan would struggle to turn down a record fee.
Shevchenko has never said he's 'warming to the idea' at all.
He has however said that he wants to end his career at Milan.

I can see Andrei Shevchenko leaving Milan due to the fact over the last two seasons, this one in particular he's slowly loosing 'that thing' that made him the number one striker in the world ( bar the 25 stone goal a season Ronaldo that is! ) and he and Milan will benefit from taking the riches of Roman at this stage of Milans and Andreis path.

But I do belive he might be 80% of what Chelsea where missing this season, a 30 goal a season striker with lethal qualitys ( oh and of course, a striker that doesn't model himself of doing a Klinsmann ) and with the money they have would be a worthy buy and it's seems none of the top 5 world strikers are remotly interested in moving to Russias finest football team.
Slowly losing 'that thing'?
Hmm. :o
What are you basing that on? Just random opinion?
Because he's scored a shed load every season he's played with us thus far (bar one season where he was injured for 90% of it, and another where he missed half again through injury). And i wouldnt exactely call becoming the 2nd all time top scorer at Milan, Europes all time top scorer & leading his team to the WC slowing down either.
And you contradict yourself there, saying that he will go Chelsea, and then that none of the top 5 in the world will go. ;)

Other name being banded around is Genaro Gattuso. His missus is Walter Smiths daughter who has supposedly never settled in Italy and wants to get back home. Gattuso also wants to chance his hand in the Prem so Ferguson is supposedly using his influence with Walter Smith to cut a deal.

Whoever comes in we deffo need a new Captain for next season as G Neville is not upto the task imho
Wont happen.
First he's happy at Milan, 2nd thats ficticous information your giving for a reason why he might go.

Of course there is, let me prove it. Souness will never be a good manager, Fletcher will never be good enough for Man Utd fans, see its simple ;) :)
Good point, ok then "never" is not a word in transfer situations

no such word in football
Yes there is.
Milan NEVER sell their star players.
Sheva will NEVER leave Milan as he's settled here.
Sheva will never leave Milan as Silvio is Shevas sons godfather.
Chelsea will never have Sheva.
;)

Its not really a case of 'thinking what i like'.
Its a case of looking at the facts over fiction.
Milan have never sold their star players. Fact.
Silvio is Shevas Son's godfather. Fact.
Sheva and his family are settled in Milan. Fact.

Where as all these claims about what he's said are just vastly twisted facts, or more often than not, complete nonsence.

You seriously cant sit there and think to your self theres not even a small chance of him going, football is a money game and Chelsea have a lot - how can a club who needs rebuilding reject 30,35 million for a 30 year old?

I can sit there and think that because there has never been any facts that say he's even considered it.
English papers prefer to focus on fiction that they've made up rarther than facts. And unfortunatelly, half the country is daft enough to belive them.
Football can be a money game. But isnt allways. Otherwise the rarther large offer in 2003 would have seen Maldini playing for Real. ;)
Milan arnt exactely strapped for cash either, and are fully capible of splashing out the cash when needed.
Plus, the new business deals have recently given us a VERY large cash injection.

As for his age, who cares how old he is? Chelsea obviously arnt, because they know that even at his 'ripe old age', he's still one of the best in the world. And because of that, he will stay at Milan. Milan wont sell Sheva to get a paltry 30m for him. For one he's worth more than that and most of the world knows it. Secondly, why would they sell? He's still doing the business, he's still scoring for fun and still helping the team. Why sell?

I suggest people start looking at facts and logical outcomes rarther than fiction and fantasys.

And whats with the constant age references?
Cant people think of anything else to critisise for? After all, they cant be that bad if they got to the Semi's of the CL, went out on a refereeing error, & are currenty 2nd in the league, 3 points behind a Juve team who have been very good this year in the league.
The team is old, but isnt as old as people make out. And the 'rebuilding' isnt as extreme as people seem to think either, 2-3 new players will sort us out. And even those are just some to replace players who are leaving or retiring.

I dont care who you are if its Shevchenko or some random joe you can never rule out the more, I also think its unlikley for Sheva to move, why would he - chelsea only have money there not the most attractive option. I was just stating you can never EVER say never in football - FACT!
