Anyone know where I can find a decently priced vega water block? they are all starting to appear as "end of life" and "end of production"
For what card exactly?

I bought Sapphire Vega 56 in the sale. It had pretty bad coil whine so much so that I was going to return it but first I tried to burn it in like suggested on these forums. I left it running Heaven overnight for 8 hours and there did appear to be a small difference but still bad. I then upgraded my PSU from a Corsair CX600 to a Corsair RM850i, that didn't make any difference to the whine but I do really like the new PSU. Then I left it running all my games uncapped FPS high load and I actually heard the coil whine shift frequency when idling in Shadow Warrior 2, it was like the GPU had frozen/crashed because of the difference in noise.
So long story short after 7 days of stress testing and heavy gaming the whine has reduced to the point it no longer bothers me with my headset off. So I am a very happy Vega owner.
Can I join the club?
Just got my Sapphire Vega 56 Pulse today!
Won't be fitting for a couple of days though as I'm waiting for something else.
Fingers crossed it doesn't have coil whine.
Anyone found any good guides for undervolting/overclocking these cards? I realise they'll all be a be different, but a starting point (and advice) would be handy. Thanks.
Hey Guys, recently got the Gigabyte Vega 56. Is there any reason why it sounds like a jet engine? I've upgrade form 1060 3gb which was silent under load. it sits idle around 47-50c then up to 68-70 in game.
Is this common? l can hear the fans in the next room with door closed.
+50 power limit, 920mhz Mem, +6% Core, 1125mV s6+7
Getting 1670mMHz stable, temp 70C, fan 1600rpm
A decent bump of 10% performance over stock, and I think there's more to be had out of it.
Glad its worked out buddy!
Yes I have seen afterburner cause issues with my overclock settings on my 1060 and vega too. Might force myself to just use OverdriveNT in future.
