The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

Best I can get so far is 6707. Thats with P6 1680/1065mv and P7 1712@ 1085. Memory is P3 950Mhz/1025mV

During the Superposition benchmark my clocks tend to level out at the 1640's. How do I fix that?
You don't - that's a good clock speed :)
I'd be happy with that.
Mine was sitting around 1615mhz gaming.
TBH, there wasn't a noticeable difference in FPS at 4k between that and running around 1550mhz, but a lot less power used.
Have you tried your memory at 1100mhz/1000mv?

a little help is possible. how high can i clock the nitro+. my overclocking days are well past really, but even though pc spec not best,(ddr3,lol) always interested in see what it can do. so far im

upped the power, thats about it, how much higher can i go without messing with voltages

You're probably better off undervolting it and pushing the power slider to +50%

i pushed the power to max, i couldnt get much more, it failed at 1800, have heard it will hit 1800, the memory is stable at 1000, i will have a read up to see whats best option.
thx
1800 sounds ambitious. What clock speed is it holding during benchmarking?
Undervolting removes the dips in performance - they'll hit boost speed, then dip right down.
Undervolted, they'll hold a fairly constant speed, and run cooler.
You'll probably get your memory to run at 1100mhz.

1800 is manageable with only some very good silicon. Mine tops at ~1760 anything above that and it's crash city. Stuart's right on the memory too.

BTW I got 7155 on 4K Opt in Superposition. Pretty old run too with 1750MHz P7, 1250mv and 1100MHz HBM2 leaving the value there at 945mv. Did that on 14.08.18. Probs had a 200% power limit reg change though knowing me :D

I also have a water block so keeping the card cool is a bit easier.

Increasing mem to 1100mhz/1000mv helped me break the 7000 mark.

Got some artifacting in ROTTR benchmark so scaled it back. Seems to be stable at P6 1695@1065mv P7 1730@1085mv. Gives me a score of 6974 in 4k superposition.

I'm happy with that.

That's good - I had to go 1702@1150mv - mine doesn't feel stable if I drop the mv at that frequency.
Gives me the same score, but you're getting it for less juice.

I have had my V64 reference undervolted to 980mv and have been getting a steady 1500mhz. Earlier in the week I was able to pass most benchmarks/stress tests such as Heaven, Superposition (extreme), FS, FSE, TS etc without problem.

But since yesterday it keeps crashing on TimeSpy. Even when I give it a lot more voltage it still crashes. When keeping an eye on the clocks I have noticed that TimeSpy boosts the clock higher than what is listed for P7 and then the crash happens. I don't know what is going on since I was able to pass TS without problems just a few days ago and I haven't changed anything since then.

think 1770+ is possible, been busy today so give a go in week, though im on air, i open the fron of case to get some more air in as gpu is a warm bugger to say the least

Raise that 980mv slightly, see if it happens again.
