Depends what style. If you want traditional Valerie Vargas is one of the best in the world at girl heads and pinups.
I've got an arm full of stuff from her. Excellent tattooer.
I really want something like this next.
Any idea how many hours they would take?
Just one that is.

Those are probably two-three hours each. Her rate is £100 an hour but for quicker pieces it may be a fixed price that works out a bit higher.

I would advise finding a better artist. They are ok but you can get so much better!

At the end of the day it's your body and your choice. Personally I would save and travel to where you need to go.
I don't know of any artists in your area but there must be some fantastic ones I'm sure.
I can only link to 2 that are (were) local to me.
I'm of the opinion that if you're gonna do it then make sure it's done right!

Saw it on the guys deviant art page ages ago and emailed him to ask if he would mind me having it as a tattoo The guy has some amazing work, and has done stuff for Blizzard as well! Keep putting off having it done, got the week off so i'm hoping 1 of 2 places that i know are going to make a good job of it have had a cancellation or something so i can get it done this week sometime
