The Tesla Thread

Do you take the Feekmobile out for a motorway blast?
Yeah, from time to time, just to give it a run. The nearest dual carriageway is a good twenty minutes drive away so it's not something I can do on a whim, I have to make the effort to do so.

Work are looking to introduce a salary sacrifice scheme for employees to buy cars in the next year, it's almost tempting but I probably don't do enough miles any more. Like you, it'd just sit outside the house all the time.

Notice I'm losing 5-10 psi a day in my fron drivers tyre. Going to nip to kwikfit tonight and hopefully if fixable and its the tyre not the wheel. Don't know when exactly it started though, maybe 3-4 days ago. At least the front have only got a couple of months life if I do need to replace them.

25 quid so not too bad. Nail in the tread. Annoying but I'm back on the road. Did leave me pondering though, as they said to press the reset tpms setting. I don't normally bother as after a few hundred metres it sorts itself out, so now I'm wondering what the difference is. I googled but that just tells me how to reset it, not what the difference is.

Had a wierd issue a couple of times now, my passenger door mirro wasn't unfolding. Its not icy so not sure what, seems to unfold OK when I press the button. Any ideas?

Have you made sure the hinge area of the mirror is clean? Dirt and grit can get lodged in there (especially this time of year) and cause some issues with that.

I did spray it with some silipn lube after it froze the first time. I'm going to keep my eye on it and see if it happens again.

:DAhh finally, I found where the Tesla gang hangs out.:D
Hi. 2021 Model 3 Performance here..
Does motors still do pub meets and gatherings? Can't see a thread yet!!

they should have seen plenty of model 3s though the doors by now and should be familiar with them. There is guidance on the tesla website if you want to read it or they don’t know what they are doing.

The only thing some people have trouble with is the model x, mainly due to size and it not fitting in smaller lifts often used at MOT stations and they have to take them to place that can do vans.

Can those of you here with 21 model year model 3's please take a picture of the inner side of the boot lid lip at the front edge, for me please.
If that wasn't clear, I mean when the boot is open, on the hinged side nearest the rear window, the inner lip...
I think I have a paint fault I discovered this weekend whilst giving it a full going over myself instead of letting a detailer do it besides me just washing it for the last year and a half. Bit disappointed to say the least. I want to see if it's common or not before approaching tesla.

Had to book my MOT into an independent, everywhere no availability for like 2-3 weeks! I've left it a bit late too; first MOT due on 1st March but off on holiday on Saturday. Hopefully anything is an advisory that I can sort out after, particularly tyres.

Bot of an odd question, but does anyone ever view dashcam footage on a pc? I downloaded the Tesla vidal and the quality is shocking, I just wanted to get somebodies reg as it was '66 akn' and nobody is going to believe me without a picture  , the video is quite fuzzy even though it was a daytime clip.
