Just looked out of interest - 26k seems to be cheapest 4 year old TM3P with 82k, but reading its says performance upgrade so its not entirely clear is its a LR with Performance or the performance.
Back in 2019 there was a run of Performance cars but without the performance pack as it was back then. They are basically an LR with the motors fully un-corked to performance spec but lack the bigger wheels brakes and spoiler (and the range hit from those items). It was a few K cheaper to buy as well.
Back to the depreciation point a 3-4 year old car has lost 45-55% of its value. That seems normal to me?
That's not a Model 3 Performance, it's a long range with the upgrade. Still a very fast car, not equivalent though.Well, there's a real comparison with like-for-like(ish)
Seems like a 5k difference.

Surely the comparison should be an M3/4 to a model 3? I'm also laughing at the 'basic' model 3, it's not like it has anywhere near the options to choose from as something like a porsche, infact what options are there FSD and that's it?
I agree the 19 or 20s that are on my model 3 (performance) make me wince and I avoid potholes like the plague (probably look like a drunk driver on some roads ). I kind of wish I'd gone white interior, but I do have kids, and my son has a habit of coating everything in mud.White interior if you love cleaning and 5 paint options.
Wheel upgrade on the non-performance models. I personally wouldn’t bother with the wheels, the lower profile rubber increases the risk of pothole damage to the wheels and tyres. 18”s are plenty big enough for a Model 3 IMO.

I have this one. The range thing really isn't an issue with the supercharger network. For example on a recent round trip I had to top up in Guildford - added 100 miles in 10 minutes which got me home no problem!Anyone got an real world experience of the model Y rwd standard range only?
For new work company car, long range is looking out of my budget unfortunately, but I may be able to get RWD into it just……
how is it on long journeys? Charging / more stops a pain, or people not really finding it an issue due to quick top up capabilities?
we don’t do many long journeys, 1 every couple of months say, but just wondering…..
Not sure for the 3, but for the Y it had to be done by the service center, wasn't possible to buy one and DIY. They recommended I spec a towbar when I ordered the car, which I did.Can anyone remember when they made the switch to the LFP battery pack for the Model 3 RWD model? Was it the 70 or 21 plates?
The Tesla accessories stores doesn’t list a tow bar for the Model 3. Is it not possible to add one to a car post-purchase?

Model 3 can’t tow unless it was factory fitted.

The reason is the car is missing a bar that bolts on the back of the chassis which the tow bar attaches to. As it didn’t come equipped from the factory, the towing capacity is zero on the rating plate so even though it’s technically possible to retrofit it’s still a nope from a legal perspective.

The car's great. It's the slowest tesla ever but it's really not that slow...
