I hate that they call it Mini... their D2, now that should be called the mini... but this is not even close... waiting to hear more about this SXi-Q control system.. wonder whats so innovative about it?

Never liked the SX Mini case though, that top cap looks daft and I don't like screw in battery caps, not after having a Vapor Flask with two of them... and the recessed up/down buttons.... IPV need a lot to learn in design and build quality for the prices they typically charge.

What's IPV got to do with it? P4U use Yihi chips but beyond that there is no relationship as far as I know.
The D2 is made by Pioneer4u not Yihi.

Sorry, typo, should have been THE not Their... my point was that the D2 is a true mini mod, the SX mini is not even close to anything Mini.

Ooh ooh ooh! SX-Mini ML-Class with support for stainless steel coils in TC mode.

Told you SS was the way of the future!

I can see more money leaving my bank account soon.

nice... very nice.. shame I've ear marked two mods as is at the moment..

EDIT: question is will they let people with the v1 upgrade to the v2 firmware if the chip can handle it..

I use an i2 at the moment, looking around 4-5 hours to charge a 2500mah cell from flat.

Just given my Goliath V2 another chance, think I have it nailed on this time, but the airflow on this tank is absolutely huge, to the point I've had to ramp up temp limit north of 500F to get a nice vape from it.

A very nice vape, shame its a pain of a tank to use day to day, it might be top fill but once that top comes off the tank section just sits in place, fill it up and knock that tank before you secure the lid...not pretty.

Chargers; Nitecore D4 or Xtar VP4? What do you use?
XTAR VC4 mainly , 4.18v spot on every charge , multiple charging rate , very nice charger. Also have an I2 , another great charger but does take a long time for some of my 26550's especially the 5200 mAh Efest's.An Efest SODA , charges fast but batteries come off warm so only use it if others are full.

Is the VP4 not a replacement for the VC4?
VC4 have the capability to charge batteries other than Li-on,so comes in handy for some of my other batteries.
VP4 has external power supply & can be used of car 12v but cannot charge other types of batteries.

I have the Xstar XP4, it can do a range of batteries and you can select the charge rate from .25a, .5a and 1a, I try to used the .5a normally but if im in a rush I use the 1a, it will charge a 2500mah in about 1h30m :)

can some one please point me to the best menthol / mint juice?

i have just purchased some T Juice - Mintastic and its very sickly sweet and actually makes me feel like throwing up!

any ideas? i was using this:

which was fine but i thought i would try some others.

I quite like Element Frost. It's pretty damned potent but I don't find it overly sweet though

That's incrediblly quick, is the only downside to that the extended battery life?
Might have to look into picking one up, I'm not arsed if my batteries will last 200 cycles a piece instead of 300+ and need to fork out a few quid for new ones :p

So progress has been made with my DNA200/133 1550p box, all parts arrived on Wednesday, I spent the last two evenings grinding out the bottom of the screw posts and cutting and out the screen windows and usb post and drilled the button holes, going to use Vmo buttons for the up/down and the fire button from a Cloupor Mini (with a small bit of padding to make it reach the onboard fire button.
I originally drilled the 510 for a fat daddy v4, but its so long and wide at the base that if wont fit between the battery tray and DNA board, thankfully I have a Veritube which is a bit shorter and narrower at the base, will be a squeeze still and not sure its going to fit... but ill try...

Yeah charging at 1a will reduce the batteries life, but for all an 18650 costs, im not too fussed and as I said I don't always use it, like my 20 amp batteries I use in parallel mods, I charge at .5a as im in no rush for them as I have plenty, but the batteries is use in single battery mods I tend to use the 1a, especially for the koopor as it can kill a battery quicker than I can charge them lol

What is considered the best rba. I have the Kayfun and The Russian (Kafun clone with a screw that adjusts airflow) Back in the day every atty was based on the Kayfun, have things changed in design and concept?

I did have the original Rose, but that thing was fiddly as **** and the juice flow control was one huge gimmick so I am not looking for anything like that.

It depends on what you're looking for.
For direct lung and dual coils the Goliath v2 is a great tank for the money, although the Cthuhlu v2 is likely to overshadow it soon.
For mouth-to-lung then the Kayfun 4V is a great device albeit complicated (the build is nearly the same as the Kayfun Lite though). The pot of gold for MTL tanks is the Ubertoot UTA2 but they are nearly impossible to get hold of and expensive.

Most tanks still use the same design as the Kayfun Lite for builds and wicking. A few are different though such as the UTA2 and the Goliath.

These terminologys are new to me, direct lung, mouth to lung. I just take a drag, the smoke goes as far as my throat and I exhale so I'm mouth to throat

Oh and I build kanthal to around 0.5 to 1 ohms using a mech mod if that helps. For some reason I'm getting dry hits with mine 50/50 snake oil and the cotton isn't tightly packed in.

I Will look at those attys you've mentioned

Thanks
Edit they both aren't spring loaded which is a shame
