Nice mod Slinxy, i had a SVB DNA30, lovely workmanship on those mods.

It took several requests to get it done, but I meet the guy behind SVB at a vape meet. He's just finished a shop order for spa vapes with dna 40s boards and dropped him the question again and he said yes.

My mate has the first one, the prototype... was gutted that I didn't get it as I didn't know it was up for sale.

This is a question for those of you who are making your own juices. What brand flavourings are you using and how much as a percentage per batch?

A month or so ago i made up my first ever batch for the wife and she has just got around to using them. The problem is that she says there is no flavour to them. I used the ejuice me up calculator to work out how much I needed of each ingredient and set the flavour to 20% of the total. I got the flavourings from cupcake world and they smell pretty strong. Surely 4-5 weeks is enough steeping? Anyway, I made up another batch today at 25% flavouring so will see what she thinks of them in a month or so.

Well thats handy, and you know the maker :)
Im hopeing to see him do either a dual 18650 SX J or DNA200... id be all over that, but for the size of the box, a single 18650 is a waste of the available space to me.
But there is no denying the quality of his work and the effort he has to put in to make them...

Not familiar with Cupcake world, but IIRC they are very strong flavours. It may sound backwards but try a small mix with less flavour as sometimes too much mutes flavour. I'm currently vaping a Forest Fruit Pie and that's 10% flavouring

New mod, very solid and can't knock it, I got some fresh batteries and a charger too but they are boring so didn't show those :]

I've never used CCW, but the general opinion of this brand on the home brewer FB groups I read, is that you need a lot of concentrate to produce a satisfying flavour (30%+).

Try capella, flavor west, TPA. Inawera is a good option for super low %'s (1-5%).

New build in the Aromamizer. 4mm 24awg 10 wraps for 0.6 ohms. Vertical coils with rayon wick.
Seriously good vape.

It's tighter than it looks.. I know you manged to get dual in yours but this is the sx j board and he can't really be spending that much time milling out the cases for dual batteries and getting the parts to fit. But I know.. I would love to have it dual..

On the dna200 front, he's made a prototype and working out a few bugs, but expect that to be on the market soon.

He is planning to move on to CNC custom boxes soon too.. now that's going to be exciting with his paint work.

This might interest you...

if you make one.. make me one ;) lol

Yeah there is more work involved going dual, but it can be done and with the SX chip too.
CNC SVB mods... cool, now that's got to be a good thing.

That kit is interesting, but there is a CNC kit out though only single battery sled, it looks very nice too.

You buy the kit and ill build it for you. hows that...LOL

Seriously good vape.

I bottled out of going for vertical coils as I've never built/wicked vertical before, don't suppose you could snap a pic of your build? Give me some ideas :)

Going to Texas on Saturday, very excited, anyone familiar with any retailers in the states? Preferably ones selling DNA200 mods :D

I had a similar build in a Velocity. Although 10 wraps of 24ga on 3mm. Flavour and vapour density was probably the best I've ever had from it

Not tried verticals in the aromamizer yet, but i would imaging you feed the wick in from the top of the coil, pull down and through the bottom and then split the tail so half covers each juice hole, then cut the wick a few mm above the top of the coils?

I'm a massive fan of capella concentrates which I tend to mix between 10 to 15%. Flavor ah (see chefs vapours) do really strong concentrates that are more in the 5% range (love their milk and honey).

I've seen this, but I've also seen some builds using a single piece of cotton to wick both coils - though I'd imagine this is more beneficial for dripping.

Yeah i can see a single wick working too... will have to try for my next build, but currently im loving the dual TI coils i have in it... so good..
Though i do recommend dumping the drip tip for a stumpy.. much better flavour with out that anti spit back tip..

Edit:

My Aromamizer deck, dual 24awg Titanium coils that ive been running since friday morning.. had several tanks through it so far at 50W and going well.

Nice :) I'll have to get the 6ml ordered when I get back from my holidays so I can run a few different builds.

Yeah, I'm just in the process of changing the drip tip, prefer delrin, less likely to burn my self :D

E: wide bore delrin tip is a win, didn't realise how restrictive the stock tip is!

Ooh fair point, completely forgot about reddit, will stick a post up later today - cheers :)

Took my aromamizer build up to 100w last night, no hint of burning, required fog lights after :o 120w tonight when I get on some fresh batteries I think!
