So recieved my EHPro Veritas RDA clone saturday, tried two builds. Since I only have 30AWG wire at the moment, I first tried dual vertical coils, 2mm inner diameter, about 7 wraps. Flavour was good, but on par with my Lemo 2, I had expected better.

Turns out it was because I had built my coils to the sides, when they should have been at the front, next to the airflow. I came across a video showing how to make twisted wire without a drill (cut a long piece, fold it in two, twist the two ends together and hold them with pliers, hook a pen through the fold, and roll the pen on your leg), so I did that, made a 3.5mm ID coil of twisted 30AWG kanthal, 5 wraps, 1.3ohm, and put it horizontal right next to the airflow... Wow! It's like it deposits the flavour on your tongue, rather than being a tasty vapour, I'm very impressed.

It leaks a tiny bit if I take the top off to drip, but that's probably (edit: well, certainly. I get a bit overzealous and drip until it runs over the juice well :D) because I put too much in. I've found the best way is to take the drip tip out and plonk it in there, no problems!

After watching vaping with vics recent watts up on youtube its kinda depressed me about the future of vaping.

I love all the tinkering, trying new mods and rdas but seeing as in less than 6 months the whole lot will have a 90% chance of getting banned or severly limited. Im talking about drippers and VW devices etc.

Shouldnt newbies bd made aware this is happening so they dont drop a ton of cash on gear before it becomes useless? I must have about £250 tied up in vaping gear :(

Until we know what is happening, there's no guarantee.
Besides, they'll likely ban the sale of certain products - Those that already exist? Not their problem... and there's nothing they can really do about buying cotton and wire.

I think if they do regulate the hell out of it, many items will go the way things like bongs have - Buy as many of those as you want... just can't legally buy the waccy-baccy for them.
 
Does anyone know, why; and yes It has been cleaned, and had a new filter inside it, fitted only the other day, it is a kangertech evod mega, yet it is leaking, anyone know what to do? or if there is any help.

Try the following capella mix if your other half likes fruity flavours;

- 5% Sweet strawberry
- 5% Juicy Peach
- 4.5% Tangerine

Just mix it up, give it a good ol' shake, let it settle for an hour and you'll be ready to vape. None of this months waiting :p

Here's mine, currently sat in a velocity clone (sorry about the quality);

It's a stapled fused clapton @ 0.3ohms. Freshly wicked the moment before taking pic, that's why there's fluff all over the place!
Really hoping it will fit in the aromamiser, have been dripping all day and cannot wait to have something to use this build in that doesn't require topping up every 2 minutes :p

No not at all but ive had 3 mods die on me in my 1 and a half years of vaping. If they stop vw mods etc how will you replace them? As ttaskmaster said hopefully they just move to the grey legal area. Personal perfume vapourisers anyone? :p

It's .2mm wire wrapped around each .4mm core, with the staple being .2mm too.

theoretically .8mm, if it fits I'll be over the moon :p

It took a lot of patience to make that thing, was my first ever try at one and took about 90 minutes for a few inches of bloody wire. Madness :p

That's a lot of faulty mods. :eek:

There will be a grey market if they do pass this as law. ;)

Don't know about NiFe30, not used it, but the Titanium, dont dry burn it, do spaced coils and i find it works great with temp limit set to upto 175C on a DNA40 device, depending on the atty. I generally run with it in tanks at 160c-170c on my DNA40's, no burnt hits yet, but at 175C can sometimes get a bit of a dry hit, at 160c its been spot on but not as warm as i prefer.

Cheers Tweak, ill give it a go tonight i reckon, the Nife30 i bought as it was new and thought it could be the next big thing in TC, but titanium wire seems to be the go to wire for TC along side SS.
 
Im sure it took ages Tommy, ive just made my very first Twisted wire, dont have a drill so improvised and twisted by hand...

26awg titanium, coiled around a 2.5mm bar x2... and decided to go Vertical too after Rilots recommendation.

Got it primed and back in the tank soaking, came out to about 0.08ohms

pulled the trigger earlier today on a Aspire Nautilus mini and a Eleaf Istick 50w, also got a tobacco juice and a blackjack flavour (as in the chewy sweets) both 18mg nic.
Had a quick blast earlier on 6v/19w but going to lower the wattage a bit more for now.
 
Finally gave it a blast... 60w pre heat, 50w normal... not bad but not hitting temp limit so bumped her up... 70w pre heat and 60w normal and wow.. what a vape, though im not sure it may not have a slight leak, maybe needs more wick, dunno, i just re packed with a small allen key so will see...

Not convinced its any better than the standard dual horizontal coils though..

EDIT: back to 60w pre heat and 50w normal... as it was throttling after a few vapes, guess as the wick and coils bed in...
