Nice :) I'll have to get the 6ml ordered when I get back from my holidays so I can run a few different builds.

Yeah, I'm just in the process of changing the drip tip, prefer delrin, less likely to burn my self :D

E: wide bore delrin tip is a win, didn't realise how restrictive the stock tip is!

Yeah my wee delrin in the picture is wide bore for its size or you can use the tank without a drip tip at all, makes for a warmer vape too... :)

Finally got to try the TC coil for my Triton (my last coil took its time to give up!!) and I must say I really like it :) much smoother smoke, tastes lovely. One thing I've trying to get is the temp change, at 185c it is nice and light but a bit low on flavour, up to 200/210 and it tastes much better but I get a tiny bit of gurgling and spitback. Must be the high VG liquid (96% I think).

Must say I'm impressed with temp control. Will order some more coils :)

I'm struggling to find some decent liquids though :( Online I've only had a nice hit from cutwoods mega melons, the rest all have that nasty marzipan quality to them.

In the shops I've only managed to pick up a nice Element "dripper" orange which was sweet and gorgeous, but the rest are either oily or sickly sweet. APparently it's fine to use dripper fluid in the sub ohm - it was the best one I've ever tasted, are all dripper fluids more sweet and rich and tasty?

any suggestions for decent makes? decent sites for good quality?

Thanks :)

The time has come to stop smoking.
I currently smoke around 25 rollies a day - (golden virginia).
I have smoked now for 25 years.
Never tried vaping before.

Can someone recommend me a starter kit from either of these places
Here or Here as they're 10 mins from my house.... or advise if better to get from web.
Think I would like spicy/slightly sweet flavours.

If possible could you please include everything required.

From those shops you listed I would buy an Innokin Coolfire IV and an Aspire Nautilus tank from the E-Cig St Helens shop. Couple those with some 18mg liquid and you'll be all set. Forget the starter kits as you'll outgrow them in 10 minutes.

Not tried verticals in the aromamizer yet, but i would imaging you feed the wick in from the top of the coil, pull down and through the bottom and then split the tail so half covers each juice hole, then cut the wick a few mm above the top of the coils?

Correct. This is how I do it.

I bottled out of going for vertical coils as I've never built/wicked vertical before, don't suppose you could snap a pic of your build? Give me some ideas :)

I didn't see this post until this morning and today I didn't take the Aromamizer with me. I'm on-site so took kit I don't care about if it gets dropped or smashed.

Will try and take a pic for you tonight.

Just noticed the mod has built in battery, how long do they last - I know this could vary a lot, but would a 20 a day smoker get a full day out of it or would I be better getting something with a removable battery.
I'm asking because I have no idea.

I would expect you to get 2 days + out of that with a tank like the Nautilus. You're only going to start eating through batteries if you move up to a sub-ohm tank and really start cloud chasing.

Do you think Vertical coils in the Aromamizer is better than the horizontals coils then Rilot?

Absolutely. I've built a lot of different coils in it over the last few days and I can say that vertical works best. Not sure why but it could be because they are closer to the centre-line of the tank and so get more airflow.

Been trying a Kanger SubTank Mini lately...
Pretty good, right up to the point where it can't wick the last 1ml of fluid because the wicking holes in the atomizer are so high up.

Can anyone recommend a subtank as good as this one, ideally in black too, but that isn't as wasteful?

Cheers Rilot, my next build will be Verticals then...

+1 for the Uwell crown if you are ok using Coil heads, the SS heads are great but can take a lot of power and Drink juice like there is no tomorrow, but can be used in Temp control too if you have a suitable mod, DNA200/Yihi SX350 J, Smok XCube II.
You can get the coil heads cheapest on Fasttech.

You won't get very far trying to use the Crown coils in TC mode on an SX350J. It doesn't have the TCR setting for stainless steel.
I'm running them in TC mode on an Apollo Reliant with the TCR set to 17. Seems to work really well actually.

I thought the SX J had a firmware update to add the SS TCR, maybe that was the Smok im thinking of?
Ah well, yet another good reason to own a DNA200 :P

It got one for titanium fairly recently and the new SX350J-V2 will support adjustable TCR but I doubt the firmware will come to the original SX350J boards or SX-Mini M-Class.

Many thanks to the people who replied to my diy juice question. I am getting low on the cupcake workd flavourings so will try some of the Capella ones as they seem to keep cropping up.

Someone posted this mix in this thread and I'm loving it right now.

CAP Sweet Lychee - 6%
CAP Sweet Tangerine - 4%
CAP Sweet Mango - 4%

Bit like 'tropical' flavoured thing you might come across.

Hey guys, ive just got some Titanium 26AWG 0.40mm and some NiFe30 28AWG 0.32mm wire from Stealthvape, im planning on using them with my VT40 DNA40 big screen v5 but is there anything i need to know about these wires, like titanium i need to set the temp 100 below normal ni200 temps, but what about the NiFe30 - hopefully a few of you TC guys have used or use these wires and can give me a real suggestion on how to proceed.

Don't know about NiFe30, not used it, but the Titanium, dont dry burn it, do spaced coils and i find it works great with temp limit set to upto 175C on a DNA40 device, depending on the atty. I generally run with it in tanks at 160c-170c on my DNA40's, no burnt hits yet, but at 175C can sometimes get a bit of a dry hit, at 160c its been spot on but not as warm as i prefer.
