Yeah the Istick family has had some issues in its short lifetime :(
Though if your handy with a soldering iron, you can remove the Lipo cells and put in two 18650's...

I have a Marquis clone and it was a darn good flavour atty... one of my favs.
Not tried the Velocity RDA, but the Velocity Deck in the Aromamizer is very good, im getting lots of flavour, good airflow and it wicks better than Any other RBTA ive tried so far, i would be happy to buy another, in fact I Will buy another soon... loving the vape from this tank and its so easy to build in.

Just put in an order for my second one, surprised to see all the 3ml one out of stock... the way it drinks juice... lol

More flavour apparently from the shorter chimney, as close to a dripper you can get.

Unless it comes down to £20 I am going to hold of for a v2, because that air control ring looks naff. They could have made it integrated like every other atty.

The 3ml gives a very warm vape, but it also gets hot quick, settled my build down to 45w, have to give it a few seconds to fire but it's a nice amount of flavour and vapor - 120w on the same build about blew my moobs off.

I don't mind the air flow ring, it's not intrusive, sits solid, moves easily, my only improvement would be a top fill, just filling up tank number 4 of the day, reckon I'll do this and another tonight so 15ml in a day. I even smashed a whole tank in 15mins while on a break earlier :p. I need cheaper juice :o

You just need to get on the DIY wagon.

The Forest Fruit Pie I'm currently vaping costs me less than £6 per 100ml @ 1.5mg nic

I had the same trouble with the RBA and its SS coil, but found the heads worked great, then i realized it was the 510 centre pin in the base of the tank, loosened the coil head, push the pin up and then screw down the coil head, you should feel more resistance as you do, then see how that goes, every time i swap between the RBA and a coil heads in the Crown, i have to do the pin push to get them to work properly..

Will have a look next time i change to the coils , i have the .25 ohms SS coils , only 1's they had in my local B & M.I did check my Mod Resistance to see if that was effecting the TC function.I used some 1.5mm copper wire & resistance was .006 ohms so i can rule that out.
I did notice that active ohms hardly moves when vaping & resorted to a tip i picked up , take a small vape , unscrew atty , rescrew back on & when it says new atty ,say yes if the resistance was slightly higher.Great vape until you leave it for 1/2 an hour or so & then back to lying to DNA 200(which i don't like).

I sometime run my Aromamizer without any drip tip as it does give a warmer vap, though the tiny drip tip i do use is far better than the stock one it comes with.
I dont use the airflow band, ive taken mine right off as i like the full airflow it gives.

Dude.. to get the vape you want when the mod has the right ohms, you need to increase your temp limit instead of forcing the wrong reading as all that does is cause the DNA to fire hotter than you have it set for as its calculations will be off with the wrong ohms.

Ive been running that dual twisted and vertical coil setup all day at 55w with 60w pre heat and 270c temp limit and been a great vape, not dry or burnt hits and nice dense vapor, but it is eating my batteries quicker than the standard dual coils i previously had so am tempted to go back to standard duals and horizontal again... but then they did not wick as well as the verticals do...

I do and its something I'm going to have to seriously look at when I get back from my holiday, I just shelled out £39 on 150ml from vapours oven, even that was with 35% discount!

I made 280ml of the Slurricane clone for ~£20!

Anyone finding Ti coils going black only after 2/3 tanks? Cotton is burning. Thought it might be the juice but it's 50/50 and never had this problem before with Ni200.

Seems to happen all the time in the Uwell, the toot it seems fine.

You're not alone - I get it quite bad in my subtank mini. Never a single dry hit and always a medium sort of warmth in the vape which always tastes great, but having just changed out my coil, it was covered in black crap!! Could well have something to do with the juices I use though.

I get that quite often on all wires, I usually vape quite sweet liquids so just put it down to the sugars and sweeteners that's likely in those liquids. It's easier to manage with kanthal, as I find when re wicking giving the coil a good dry burn cleans it right up, unfortunately not an option on titanium or nickel.

Glad I'm not alone. It's not thick gunk, doesn't seem to affect the vape. First I thought it might be left over machining oil from not cleaning enough, but then I thought that would definitely affect the vape, but the last coil I cleaned religiously with vodka pre coiling.

Might just be the sugar on the juice (I love my fruit vapes).

My coils are always black and gunked, but i generally vape a coconut/vanilla/fruit salad mix so put it down to the juice, wont do any harm... you can run them under a warm water tap and give them a scrub with a toothbrush to take the worst off if you want to re use them again.. ive started just binning and building fresh, as ive so much wire and never going to get through it in a hurry..
