What would be reccommended as a good 'rough and tumble' secondary? I'm starting to think im going to kick the ciggies for good, but when i'm out and about (most notably airsofting) i'm going to want something a bit smaller, and less sensitive than the eleaf/nautilis combo i'm currently running.

Are there any tanks that can be sealed to prevent leaks? And with a metal rather than glass tank, i may literally have to hit the deck and i dont want something that'll crush.

I'm thinking cheap ish if possible, after all dont want to ruin expensive gear.

I would try it but I need to find a decent precision scale as I wanted to measure my stuff in grams and not just rely on my eye looking at a beaker doing it by ml.

I'll ask on ry4 radio what people recommend. That's if it is on tonight

Try using syringes instead, works great and I'm able to measure down to 0.01ml

Having smashed through my 10ml bottle of relooped in a day, I've bought 1ltr concentrates worth of a 'looper' clone for £23.
Check out 'Vapour Boss' on facebook, kind of a group buy thing.
They are currently doing Strawberry yoghurt, unicorn milk (the leaked version), and looper.

They basically bottle up X amount of each concentrate needed and send it out. I went for the 50mlx5 option on the required concentrates;

Ive just build a new twisted 26awg TI single coil for my Uwell Crown RBA deck, came out at .14ohms... 60w pre heat, 50w normal and 240c temp limit and damn... blows away the Aromamizer with the dual twisted verticals, but it leaked on its side so had to stuff a little extra cotton over the wick tails which means its now throttling a little.. but no dry hits and clouds and flavour are great... think ive finally found a near perfect build for it so my Lemo 2 may get retired...

Only downside... getting a big nic hit and im only vaping 6mg ....
 
ok, the extra wicking has reduced the warmth so removed it, think the leak was flooding due to not enough power to vaperize the juice around the coil so pumped it up to 55w and damn.. so good...

I don't have facebook but will create a rogue account and have a look. If the TPD get their way soon we won;t even have facebook groups or even this thread as it is promoting vaping :(

Where did you get the RBA section for the Uwell, the ones I can see have those prebuilt coil heads?
 
I dunno what it is about TC but i cant for the life of me get it to work in terms of flavour and burnt taste (guess they are the same)

Currently got a TI 26awg 4/5 wrap 2.5mm in the SquapeRS wicked with Muji/KGD, comes out at 0.20 on the DNA40 which according to steam engine is bang on perfect, set it to around 160c and around 20w and the juice is murdered, its not hitting temp limit according to the screen its predicting it at 127c so....what on earth could i be doing wrong here.
Had exactly the same experience with NI200 when i first tried it and threw that away.

After you built the coil, did you leave the atty and mod apart to sit and normalise to room temp before putting the atty on the mod and selecting new coil Yes, otherwise the resting resistance will be off and thus the temp settings will be off.
Id try Rayon for your wick, i found it takes temps better than jap cottons.
Also make sure your mod and atty are well connected, dont screw the atty on too tight, but snug, a bad connection can cause temp control issues as it throws the resistance off. also ensure your leads are securely trapped, again, bad connections cause issues.

20w on a .2ohm TI coil should barely vape let alone burn the wick.

Edit: also check you have enough wick in the coil, too little and the coil will give off a burn.
The first few puffs may taste funny on TI wire, but it soon passes as the coil beds in.

Yea i hadnt used the mod for almost 30 mins before i stuck the atty on, didnt even fire or warm the atty before wicking, wicked and filled and vaped. All connections are wrapped 1 full turn around the screw, resistance is holding nice at 0.20, doesnt even move when fired, which im sure ni200 did but maybe TI is different - and 20w is kicking the vapour, not far off the kanthal build it replaces but no taste, 2.75v and 127c so no where near temp limit.

The DNA chips dont show the resistance change as the coils heat like the Yihi and other chinese chips do, it should stay constant at 0.2ohm.
20w and a 0.2ohm coil should only be taking 2v... not 2.75v, according to steam engine. 2.75v would mean 37watts!
Is your coil spaced or contact?
 
Ordered the IPV D2 from FT via China Post.

Still hasn't left China yet - is this normal? When I order clones from FT they're usually at my doorstep within a week or so.

Hmm something is wrong somewhere then, how odd...anyway they are spaced pretty evenly, heres a pic showing the coil, oh ignore the pink silicone skin, it was the only one i could get for the VT40 and i quite like it lol
 
hmm looks ok, nice coil...

The only thing i can think of is the resting resistance is wrong, i know my TI coils on the DNA40 can do 175C, but if i take a few puffs and then remove and re add the tank and select new coil yes so the resistance is maybe .02 higher, then i have to lower the temp to 140c or i get a burnt hit.
