Think I will get a DNA200 or SXJ TC based mod next. This Evic is no good for it. Are the temp readings accurate on both of those devices? I set the Evic to the highest setting 315c and I expected it to be hot however it's just warm.

I cant comment personnaly on the yihi chip, but all reports and reviews say they are accurate and i know the DNA200, just watch PBusardo's DNA200 Youtube vids.

It can be hard to get a warm/hot vape under temp control especially with ni200, but big coils, and power and good wicking in the right tank.. a great warm, smooth vape.

I've been waiting almost all month. Having to replace my DNA200 board wiped out my vape "budget" for the month. Glad I didn't order the V2 Ctulhu

I know the feeling, thankfully im single so nobody to stop me going daft, hence ive the three DNA200's and 2 Aromamizers, but trust me, they go together well.

Saving for a mortgage, spend too much and I'll castrated and hung. Luckily I've had a good months bonus as I've got a few more car related items to buy and I need to get my new enclosure printed

Doesn't seem right. What battery you got? Power you hiding and resistance of coils?

It's the battery that came with it, CF VV+ with 1.8 Ohm coils. 3.3V-4.8V, doesn't really make any difference accept to the amount of vapour produced.

One of the coils I tried yesterday had a horrible burnt taste to it so I just binned it right away, this one doesn't taste burnt but it barely tastes of anything.

The juice is fight your fate, a flavour I used to enjoy.

Just received my aeronaut rda today - along with a long awaited ipv d2 from ftech. Only just got them both up and running but already I think the aeronaut could be a long term favourite.

Thanks to whoever it was that posted the youtube a day or so ago. As soon as I saw it I felt it was worth a punt (and definitely not just because of the slightly OTT 'review'). I ordered direct from the aeronaut site late Wednesday night and the 'Lucid' edition arrived today.

Currently only rocking a 1 ohm twisted kanthal coil and exploring the aeronaut air flow options so I'm sure there's a lot more to come but I love the design and function of this RDA - especially the deep juice well. Maybe being a bit premature here but so far this might just be the perfect setup for me!!

Couldn't resist and wanted to make a working TC build before getting some Ti wire next week

Went with 30ga Ni200, twisted with 28ga kanthal, can't remember how many wraps now - reading at 0.14Ohm in Uwell Crown RBA.

Works great !

I was struggling to get a warm thick vape for some reason, been fine previously. Ran my coils through the coil wizard and tried the NI200 equiv temps, was 185c for Ti, seems spot on now.

If I put it on Ti mode and equic of 245/250 its crap? Both coils are around 0.14. Is there an ideal resistance for TC coils?

UKDTweak just a fyi in case you don't know but Joytech are an official Wismec distributor. So keep an eye out for stock availability when the DNA200 mod reaches them. I sent them a twitter message yesterday asking for price, availability and when/if it will be in stock. Will probably hear back from them on Monday now.

Edit - I've subscribed to their newsletter just in case they get it as you get a further 10% off if you do.

Aromamizer ordered, gave in on waiting and used paypal pay after delivery.

Back to being happy with the Crown RBA, 4 space wraps of twisted 26awg Ti after finding a method that works for me to build spaced coils

thinking of picking up a ipv3-li, yihi 330 chip, firmware update to 200w and dual 18650, I just don't like the size although I think I am going to struggle to find anything smaller.

Cheers Twirly, good heads up as i like the look of that Wismec.

PGI... Go for the EFusion, it has a 1300mAh battery and a proper 510, the VT200 claims to be a 1300mAh lipo but tests show its only about 1000mAh and the 510 is brass on it, so wont last as long as the Efusions 510.
The Efusion is actually much smaller than i was expecting and i managed to get through a day and a half and 12ml of juice, 322 puffs in all on a full charge running a dual twisted TI coil at 220c, 55w, with 80w pre heat and 6.5 punch, so not far off my dual 18650... but its going to take a while to charge.

If you want a small DNA200 around 1000mAh, then look at the Hotcig DX200 £85 on FT and can be found on Gearbest for £74... great we device, about the same size as a Hana mod. But the smaller battery means you will only get about half the run time, but it will re charge in about an hour :)

Damn, got the finger on the button for a provari 3 kit and subtank mini, but damn my cornish blood i just cant justify that kind of cash even though i know it'll have itself paid for in a year....

Well after today's spend I'll hopefully be set for gear for a while now I've got an aromamizer on its way and my DNA200 enclosure from Shapeways apart from a second one if I can get Evolv go repair my board with torn pads

Cheers I'll go with the efusion, looking forward to visiting this place, seemingly have over 300 different liquids in stock!

Many alternatives to be had, but would recommend the subtank mini.

How many watts do you need/want, and do you need TC?

Theres a new option... the HOTCIG DX200 strikes back, only a 900mAh battery... BUT... you can now get a spare or two from FT for only £15.51 delivered... so for £100, you can get the DX200, DNA200 with two 900mAh batteries, thats 1800mAh to get you through the day easily and without a re charge and when you do re charge a cell, its only an hour... not 3 or more the EFusion takes with its 1300mAh.
