Hi guys. Need some advice.

I've stopped using my kanger sub mini because it leaked terribly with vertical coils. I used the RBA and it stopped leaking but smoke was so hot I couldn't inhale.

My box is a Seigeli 100w and when I put on a new coil in the kanger RBA it melted the coil.

So what to do? Is it possible the box is broken and just dumping full power into the head?

Thinking to just start again and leaning towards the uwell crown but not sure on box. I'm loathe to spend too much on a box so not sure to get a cheapy or spend on a box with temp control.

Also, I've only really used red Astaire and getting a bit bored. Would like a good tropical taste and maybe a sweet taste like biscuit or cake. Any recommendations would be great.

The RBA giving you a Hot vape and melting your coil, sounds like a badly wrapped and wicked coil or you put far too much power into it.

What wire and diameter did you use, was it a spaced or contact coil and did you dry fire it before wicking to check for hot spots and how much power did you hit it with when it melted?

As for juices, so many good ones...

My favourites so far.

Wick Liquor Deja Voodo
Wick Liquor Boulevard

Element Key Lime Cookie
Element Strawberry Whip

Lost Fog Streek

Cutwood Sugar Drizzle

Time Bomb TNT
Time Bomb Maniac

My own mix:
Cocunut, Vanilla and Fruit Salad, 40/40/20

OR

English Toffee, Coconut and Fruit Salad, 50/30/20

Alright lads, hope you can help me out.

Been vaping for a year now and still based on the recommendation I've had from here pretty much.

I bought a iTaste mvp 2.0 and a nautilus mini and been using that pretty much constantly but I think it's starting to age now, I can't tell whether the battery isn't as good as it used to be or the tank is just rubbish but I don't seem to get the same kick out of it I used to and I seem to be filling it up a lot more. Plus when I fill it up, I have to mess around with it for a while to get the base off and then the thread in the screw might be stripped because I have to force it back on.

I bought a couple of other pieces over the past year like a different battery and a kanger tech mini tank. The kanger thing was fine albeit too small but the battery, whatever it was, just never gave out enough vapour.

I'm tempted to just buy the same stuff again, I know you lot all like the technical stuff and the satisfaction that comes with the build but for me I just fill it up and puff away, I only really replace the atomizer thing and fill it up, that's all I do and that's enough building and stuff for me.

I'm worried that I'll buy a bunch of new stuff and it just won't deliver what I'm looking for, I have my brand of eliquid (van Dyke dragon punch) and I'm not too bothered about changing that because if you try and it's rank, which a lot of them are, it takes ages to get the taste out.

What do you think? Repeat buy or try something else?

Why change what's working for you, ultimately if its keeping you from smoking that's all that matters.

Some people are happy with a £10 Ego battery and a CE4 then some of us running around with £100+ tanks and £500 mods.

I'd suggest a VTC Mini, A couple of Samsung 30Q batteries a Nitecore D2 and another Nautilus Mini

Just mixed up my first batch of home made e liquid. Used the flavour boss Rocket Girl as it sounded quite nice.

Does it really take a few weeks to steep the flavour? :(

Try dripping a little and see, iirc its mostly desert type flavors that require a lengthy steep, I usually make menthol/fruit flavors, at worst they're ready in around a week.

10% off at dnavapes this weekend with braincell10.
Picked up the steamcrave squonk kit to see what all the fuss is about.

I only tried the spare coils that came with the tank.

I stopped by the vape shop earlier and collected this lot. A youtube watch later and I've made a single twisted wire coil. Seems to be about 1ohms. Put the crack panda in (tropical and sweet - bit too sweet and not tropical enough but it will do for now) took a pull at 10w and didn't think it was working until I blew a huge cloud. Probably about as close to being born again as I'll ever be right now :D :D

As above really,

I'm after an RDA. Not worried about clouds, but flavour and ease of building most important. I won't be running super low-ohm builds. What I really want is the ability to chop and change flavours quickly and easily of evening when I'm having a glass of wine or an ale.

It'll be going on my kbox mini platinum. I cancelled the cuboid order, got bored of waiting. I might pick one up at some point but I don't think I need 3 mods....

I'd rather UK based supplier too if poss.

Depends on your budget..
hobo v3/v3.1 is a flavour monster but it's out of stock everywhere at the moment. you can pickup a second hand one for around £40 pounds

The dotmod petri is VERY good and easy to build on

Couldn't resist dripping a bit. I didn't believe that desert flavours would actually taste bad without some steeping. I was wrong! Hopefully after steeping it does in fact taste right.

Just had a vape on some week old diy welsh custard from chefs vapour, tastes terrible and far too harsh its 3mg and 60vg40pg. what kind of devices are best for custard, i gather it also needs a lot longer to steep?

Mesh dry hits suck worse than cotton, got the MCR303 vaping nicely now though.

I'm not convinced (with the juice I've got in it at the moment) flavour is any better than anything else.

Oh and 18350 mods are awesome even if battery life sucks

Mine get a minimum of a month before I touch them

so its a juice you very much have to plan well ahead

Unfortunately. I tend to have a big mix session when I start to run low and have somewhere between 500ml and a litre steeping at a time (about 3 months worth) and then I buy the odd bottle of something from my local vape shop when I want to mix it up from my "daily" juices

I haven't vaped for over 2 weeks. Had a really bad cough and still have it. So I've just occasionally been using nicorette cartridges. I had a flu symptom in the first week so not sure how much of my cough was due to a virus or heavy lung hits but suffice to say it's put me off vaping for now. So TommyV, I'm afraid I've not been able to try your red astaire or loopers yet. Did you try my apple pie, was it any good or crap? I suspect the latter :p
