You are deffo using flat tops and not nipple tops?

This is my top pin, and i have the RDA on it that came with the Penny v2
Slowtech SKU 1994500

Yes all my batteries are flat top. Mine looks like your photo apart from my battery adjustment screw is smooth not knurled like yours and I am also using the RDA it came with. Not really sure what is going on to be honest, I think the thread on the atomizer adjustment must be too long?

I really appreciate you talking the time to reply and post a pic! :)

Started vaping a couple of years ago, stopped a year ago and stupidly started smoking again.
So decided to give up again for new year.
Gear certainly seems to have moved on a fair bit, my sigeli v3 and aga t2 combo was in need of an upgrade :)

Kayfun v4 clone, amazed how easy it is to setup!
26ga micro coil at 1ohm with that poncy cotton for wick.
So much more simple than the steel wire wicks I ponced around with in the aga.
Vapes lovely. Though the juice I mixed needs a little steeping, it still seems to produce lots of flavour at 22w.

Looking good mate! If that setup doesn't keep you off the coffin nails nothing will! :D

Glad to hear you are enjoying the performance of the Lemo and the BD v2. :)

I did a quick dirty build on the Earlkonigin, It gives very nice flavour and I love the fill method, super easy and convenient. Draw is on the tight side for me but not to bad. Think I put a tad to much wick in it though as I was rushing so I will experiment some more when the tank is empty.

Cheers, it's and expensive hobby that's for sure, I've 3 more mods on order too.
Two cloupor mini 30w and a clone vapor flask 30w as the battery life with dual 18650 batteries is fantastic but I'm paying another £250 for the real dna40 as I'm still not 100% on temp control.

I got my evolv dna40 chip back from evolv, looks like rather than replacing the screen I broke, they have sent me a brand new 40d chip, so like the chip in the flask 2.1, it will do f and c temp modes which the hana dna40 only does f.
I decided to rebuild my hana 30 clone with the clone chip as I now plan to put the dna 40 into one of the cloupor mini enclosures when they arrive, should make a great mini mod.

It looks like you are enjoying yourself and have a wonderful collection of pieces, so I am sure the expense is justified (and hey, you aren't smoking!). :)

Kudos to Evolv for that level of service and support. Being able to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius sounds like a really nice feature too I must say.

I don't know about the V2 of the Big Dripper but on the V1, if you can get a drip tip with the same outer diameter as the plunger bit you press to release juice you can fill it to full capacity using the same method as filling 3ml, just remove the bottom push the chimney and drip tip flush to the chamber (as the tip will be the same diameter as the plunger it will still be sealed) and you can fill it all the way without the messing around.

That is a very poor and confusing way of describing, sorry about that! :o

And the Plume Veil is a great RDA. :)

yeah the V2 can be done the same, but I only used the BD in the car so capacity was enough, but now I have the Lemo on an istick its hardly used lol

The plume is a very good atty for flavor but a leaky sod if you get your wick wrong or drip a little too much, I much prefer the CLT V2 Plus, just as good for flavour and great for vapor, but more forgiving if you overfill as the bottom under coil airflow is higher off the juice deck as are the main airflow holes.

That is an issue with the Plume, you cant get much juice in it, do you know if the 1.5 has improved that?

I have been using the Hobo a fair bit, you can get a lot of juice in that for such a small atty.

I was planning to keep the post hole airflow closed to help avoid leaks from there at least. It does have a pretty shallow well it has to be said...

No biggie. The collection is swelling nicely, so there'll be others to play with if it does turn out to be a pain :)
I'm still loving the MX2 tbh. After a bit more time with it, I can definitely say that it is a step above the MX1.

I used and abused the PV for a long time, really enjoyed it. You just have to drip little and often but it is a really nice vape.

From the reviews and pictures ive seen, the v1.5 plume will be no better at holding juice im afraid, Rip was not overly keen on the quality of the V1.5 either...
Im still waiting for my hobo to ship, I hear its good with an ni200 build for dna40 temp control.

Yeah I saw that video, he wrecked the delrin insulator trying to remove it didn't he? Poor show from Aethertech with that after all the delays getting it released too.

I have been rocking the Hobo on a Hana mini as it makes a very portable setup, stellar performance from it I must say.

I'll keep that in mind :D

On another note, I've been using these batteries. They're VTC4's by all accounts unless someone can tell me different.
I've been chaining with one in a Nemesis on a .25 dual coil for the last hour or so and it's all good. Been checking it every now and then and no warmth or anything of the like.

AFAIK they are rewrapped/rebranded VTC4 so you should have no issues with them. :)

Have you got magnets in the Nemi switch or still using the stock spring?

Not yet, but I was planning to get some. Tbh though, this spring is absolutely fine and I have no issues with it. It may well get looser as it wears in, so perhaps grabbing some magnets would be an idea.

The magnets are pennies on FT, they do a nice hybrid adapter for it also, both are great little mods for the Nemesis.

Yeah, I was looking at some neodymium ones on the bay. Because neodymium innit? :D CBA to wait for FT in this case either.

*Noob alert* What does a hybrid adapter do?

Haha its all about the neodymium homie! :p Yeah its not the fastest service from FT that's for sure!

The hybrid adapter allows for the 510 on the atty to sit directly on the top of the battery which reduces voltage drop. Looks nicer too IMO :D

I see UK E Cig have the Cloupor Mini listed as in stock... £39.99. Ive emailed to verify but had no reply yet.
Ive got 2 on order from FT at only £22 each but they wont ship till 23rd Jan, so would be tempted ....

I must be honest I have largely ignored Cloupor after the T5 firmware debacle, but that device for £22 seems like insane value for money. That could crush the Istick as the go-to budget/small regulated mod. Being able to replace the battery and the extra 10 watts makes for an astonishing deal.

yeah the Cana mod they did was ok, the 36w version less so as it did not properly hit 36w even on a fully charged battery, but the T5 although it had some firmware issues, proved they can do 30w fine, the few reviews ive seen so far show this mini is the real deal, in VV mode it hits within .1 ish of the target voltage, so at 4.89 it hits at 4.77v, in all I think it will outshine the istick as you say, the changeable 18650 and magnetic door and 30w... whats not to like.

Same here but for a portable little box mod it seems perfect for out and about vaping & leaving the big guns at home ;)

The SX350 Mini caught my eye, but to be honest the price has put me off it, by all accounts a great piece of kit too.

Will post my thoughts and photos when it arrives, hopefully tomorrow :)

Cheers all

I completely agree with you both, this could be a real game changer. The form factor alone for a 30w device is great, but at that price point it really could be something special.

Man I swore I wasn't going to buy anymore vaping gear in 2015...damn you China!!! :D

Well it all depends on the internals of the Cloupor, not seen any pictures that show whats hidden under the internal covers, so hard to tell, but hopefully I can get under the hood so to speak and swap out the chips, will make a sweet mod, though 40w and temp control on a single battery are not great, that's from using the Hana DNA40, but have to try it anyway.

It would not surprise me if the chip inside the mini is very similar to the clone DNA30 that they used in the Cloupor Hana clones. If that is the case then hopefully it can be done.

Arrggghhhh....Oh man Im gutted. First I missed my signed for KF4 and couldnt get it for 2 days then I stripped it ready to soak in alcohol and noticed its got no insulator under the positive/negative block so its useless :(

That is bad news Gregg, I hope the issue gets resolved swiftly so you can put that bad boy through its paces. :)

Im still in need of a bit help regarding the copper 510 screw in my segelei 100w. Im down to 3 of the 5 that came with it and I really want to get a solution sorted before they all go. The copper is too damn fragile and I dont know where I can get spares from

I did have a look when you mentioned initially and could not find any anywhere, not even in China.

I would have suggested swapping for a SS grub but without knowing the coarseness of the thread and the fact it is reverse thread, I don't think that will be easy either.

Have you tried contacting Sigelei directly?

Thanks for that and I had the same results. No I havnt but its going to have to be done really. Its a shame as thats my only problem with it

It would be worth retrofitting a spring loaded 510 from the plus version but those don't seem to be available either.

I would try contacting Sigelei and hope they are willing to send you a bag of spares for a small fee. Good luck mate. :)
