Moonshot and fused clapton strands arrived today, can't wait to play with it!

A random noisy cricket turned up that I'd forgotten about too which I'm trading for a load of subtank mini kit. Score! Might keep this one.




That cubis modification looks nifty, does it open it up a lot?
 
I just tried it with a spare Cubis I just found - but had forgotten about - in my drawer at work. It opens it up a fair bit for sure. Not sure what it's going to do to the flavour though as the air intake is now a lot further away from the coil head. Looks more like slipstreaming that opening up if you know what I mean, but then again the Cubis works differently to other coils.

Will try at home where I have some juice and report back.

Cubis mod is useless. Yes, loads of airflow but no vapour and no flavour. Popped the part back in and it's back to how it was.

I vary nic strength depending what atty and build I'm using


Generally a 3mg in a sub-ohm tank or RDA
a mix of 3 and 6mg in the SquapeR
Then I have a Nautilus Mini with a 12mg for bad days or stealthing
 
After using pretty much the same setup for the past several months I thought I would try something new so today I built a fused Clapton...

It was a pita to do at first but got the hang of it now. 32 awg Kanthal wraped over 24, 0.2Ω wow this thing is explosive when it comes to making clouds and such good flavour... Great! Running dual coils @ 120W with some 12 monkeys Kanzi is almost too much sweetness to comprehend! :)

Also picked up a Smok Cube 2 + TFV4 which both seem pretty good. The cube is a big slab of stainless steel but I got it to keep on my desk, liking the triple coil that comes with the TFV4.
 
Black/red and silver/white rx200's now up on FT!

Spotted some yank stores with the new sxmini Q class on pre order, dual 18650, new sx450 chip, apparently fires down to 0.0001ohm or something daft like that, $200!

Unexpected Vapemail today. Took receipt of a Reuleaux DNA200 I forgot I had on backorder after realising just how shocking the battery life was on the HCigar. Have just had a Dicodes No.6 despatched as well. Must not be tempted to buy any more mods.....

Also received a load of juice from Timo Hodges' Urban Cloudz range along with some of the Juiced Up range. Needs steeping but I've had a crafty shake n' vape on the Blue Slurpy and my God it's good. Just like a raspberry Slush Puppy. Going to be hard to resist dipping into them for a couple of weeks.

Sadly no, I've heard a few horror stories about it and vape jam.. so far I just have vape collective and vape fest sorted.
 
The vendors are more likely get their gear stolen, but their are pick pocketers about; thou that could be said for any large gathering of people. I don't then to take anything expensive mod wise to meets anyway, not that I have anything expensive mod wise at the moment.

Just that the idea of chavs fighting over free t shirts and bottles of juices thrown in to area of tightly packed people while drum and bass is blasting over the loud speakers doesn't seem appealing..
 
Anything I can add to take the harsh edge off of ecto cooler? Mixed up 100ml, had a tanks worth, so 3ml or so and just find it quite harsh, almost like vaping neat orange juice :D
 
I was watching some build video's of Squidoode and Twisted Messes since I have been playing around with Stapled Clapton builds, I noticed Twisted was running a 0.11ohm Allien Wire build at 113 Watts, isn't that pretty on the limit/unsafe? 32AMPS according to vapecalc.

Ohms law battery safety goes out of the window (Within certain reason) when using s regulated mod. Worst case scenario on a dual battery mod at 113w is just under 18a regardless of resistance (Amp draw will increase as battery voltage drops)
