Ohms law battery safety goes out of the window (Within certain reason) when using s regulated mod. Worst case scenario on a dual battery mod at 113w is just under 18a regardless of resistance (Amp draw will increase as battery voltage drops)

I see, So once the regulated mod limits the AMP's the only benefit of increasing Wattage is the Voltage increasing?

Just that I'm currently vaping a 0.24ohm single coil stapled clapton and was wanting to go dual but was concerned due to the power requirements.

As I do understand Ohms law and battery safety to a degree but I get slightly confused as like you say, (Battery safety goes out of the window within reason) on regulated mods etc but when I do the calculations the numbers feel wrong.

Sorry for the idiot proof queries.

How safe is the 0.11Ohm build at 113W, When you say once voltage starts to drop the amps increase does that mean the batteries shouldn't be run down or is that when the "Low power" warning kicks in due to being regulated?

Sorry for the idiot proof queries.

Ohms law and battery safety are more of a concern with unregulated mods

0.11ohm is perfectly safe on a regulated mod. The weak battery warnings on most mods start to show when the battery voltage is hitting 3.2v under load (6.4v for dual battery)

The way to calculate amp draw on a regulated mod is

AMPS=WATTS/VOLTAGE

Where watts is the power set and voltage is the battery voltage under load. For safety I work off the low battery cutoff voltage as this is where you'll see your highest amp draw.

Edit: in essence a regulated mod will only fire what it can do so safely

FlavourArt do a couple of different additives for reducing harshness

Cheers I'll take a look, found some flavorwest 'toner' too thats supposed remove harshness!

Quick Q to all, is this common or is my IPV4 screwed up...I noticed a few days back that one cell was drained considerably more then the other,at first I put it down to it being the cell under the 510, to charged, put that cell in the other slot, same thing happens (one is around 3.4v the other 3.1v). So, battery is likely past it?

So I stick in a pair of brand new freshly charged HE4's, run fine, just stick them through the usual cycle. I've just put them on charge and one cell is all the way down at 2.35v while the other is at 3.3v.

Rather then thinking I'm unlucky enough to get two faulty batterys with the same symptoms I'm thinking the IPV4 has some seriously screwed up battery management.

Does sound like there's something off with that IPV4

it's normal for one cell to drop lower than the other, I normally see about 0.1-0.2v difference on my DNA133

But nearly a volt seems weird

Thought as much, its beaten up an nearly a year old, so can't grumble too much about having to bin it, its been used a fair bit.

Excuse to buy a cuboid :p

In comparison I just put 3 cells from my RX200 on to charge, 3.24, 3.23 3.23 on those.

Have you let it breath?

Literally just shake it up, then take the cap off and leave it in a cupboard for 24hr

Actually no I haven't now I think about it, I'll open up the cap before bed tonight :D

It tastes really nice up until it starts destroying my throat too.

On another note this is what I have to contend with at a B&M up here...

RDAprices.jpg

No marked prices? They'll pretty much make a price up on the spot and see how gullible the customer is feeling (tried to sell me a £4 doge X clone for £24!). Secondly, all clones, they don't hide the fact they're all clones, but it never hurts to have some authentics in too, They only need to look as far as Wotofo, their most expensive RDA on FT is the lush at ~£12 and the cheapest iirc is a freakshow mini for £6-7, christ their entire range is pretty much under £10 each. Lots of room for a profit margin and genuine stock.

Got my Mystery box yesterday. Got:

Yoyetech Cubis
Aspire Cleito
Vapour Depot Skittles
Element Fresh Squeeze
Seduce Juice Fruition

A bit meh with the box to be honest.

The Cleito is a really good tank, don't really like the tight draw of the Cubis(anyone interested?).

Skittles is a nice flavor. Shame the other two don't suit my tastes that much.

I don't think Ill be buying another. My Cleito can stay but I might just get rid of the rest of it. Go back to buying liquids how I want to.

Dunno what it is with me and leaky tanks but I'm about to toss out my Uwell Crown. The thing has developed a leak like you've never seen. Absolutely ****ing juice out of the airflow, I've done some googling and there were a couple of reddit threads dedicated to the issue - I've tried everything suggested there and its still doing it. I've tried new coils, tried the O-rings... I've done everything and I've wasted 20ml of juice today with no success - I'm not happy!

Aside from Kanger, and the Uwell Crown... what other tanks are people recommending? I need something with decent stock coils, as building my own just isnt for me.

Sigh.

What just are you using? And at what wattage are you vaping at?

It's normally down to the juice being too thin and over wicking.. You really want something that's 70vg plus on most subtanks or the juice not vaping off fast enough and flooding the chamber. You want to be vaping at 3.6v to 5v ish.. Any less and it foods..

Will be receiving some Vampire Vape - Pinkman concentrate, pretty sure 20% was recommended in here a while ago but can't remember who it was, anyone used this concentrate and have an opinion?

I think every time I come to order a fancy recipe one of the main flavours is out of stock! What site's do you guy's order your concentrates from I've been using Chefs Vapour but are there any alternatives I can go between incase of stock issues?

Wow... I'm very surprised that battery didn't vent going that low! Get rid of that mod ASAP!
