I'm pretty much the same. Egos just aren't up to it any more. Most egos don't output 3.7vs really, only when right off the charge then they soon drop to 3.4-5. At least the last time I saw them being tested that was the case.

I use my egos still when going out but really should get a small battery for my Vamo. Plus you can use a Genesis on an ego really just looks terrible and my Aga weighs more than likely 3 or 4 egos. So would be just a bit top heavy.

I need to pick up some new attie for going out as Genesis don't like being on their side. In the aga the juice at least just fills the top cap on its side if it was upside down it would leak.

I never thought I'd be sold on VW but it just works like you'd expect. I have to crack it up a bit for dual coils but nothing super high. I only use WV for pulsing a new coil.

I've been looking into the small batteries myself, and this looks to be the best option right now

the i4 intellicharger from ecig wizard seems to be highly recommended as well. Probably out of stock knowing them

Well i've done nearly a full day with my new e-cig had a couple of real fags in the morning because I had a few left over. The wife has done the full day.

Seems quite easy but I think the 24mg juice is to strong for me. Makes be fell a bit odd after 3 or 4 blasts of it.

How many blasts do you guys have each time you have a go.?

24mg is pretty strong, I vape 12mg because I like to chain vape. I used to vape 18mg for the extra throat hit, but if I vaped it now it 'd knock me flat! You'll adjust to 24mg if you keep with it, but dropping down to 11 or 18 will mean you can really sit down and go to it if you feel like it.

So my VH starter kit arrived and I got a question about filling her up. Inside the clearomizer there seems to be some string/rope, am I supposed to fill it up with this inside? Also how much should I fill lt up too.
Got me:

10ml apple
10ml vanilla
10ml peach
10ml mountain dew

The string is the wick. It's what soaks the liquid up into the heating coil. There should be some level markers on the side, fill it up to the top of those. If there aren't any, fill it to a bit below where the wick goes into the centre column. You don't want it to be over them or it might flood the coil.

Those flavours sound awesome btw if you want to switch them out I would recommend using a separate atty for each if you can, or if not then rinse the old one out with hot water and make sure it's fully dry before refilling (the wick will soak up a lot of water so try to dry it).

Yeah, when I was starting out I wanted to use it all the time and had the same problem. Weaker liquids mean you can blast away all day whenever you feel like it (and wherever ). Like another poster in here who apparently takes 250puffs on their ecig a day. Wouldn't be surprised if I did too. Mine barely touches my desk before it's back in my hand

Hang onto the 24mg stuff for nights out though. Most people seem to prefer the strong stuff when they're on the strong stuff

You know what the vaping scene reminds me of? The PC modding and over clocking scene back when it all took off. Buying things from different shops, working out what's best etc.

Yep, and there are always the enthusiasts spending ridiculous money on the shiny stuff they don't really need! Guilty as charged lol.

Do not tighten the battery too much to the charger, the internals of the charger or battery can twist and the wires inside can break. This seems to be a problem with this type of USB charger from all the shops.

I have bought my juice from http://www.simplyeliquid.co.uk/. Prices seemed decent and they had the flavours I wanted to try at the time.

I am still pretty new to vaping like a lot of people on this thread and I am still experimenting with various kit and juices. Haven't had a real cig since end of January and I feel so much better now.

Has anybody else experienced the weird looks you get when you pull out your ecig in public. Where I work we are not allowed ecigs indoors, so I have to go outside with the smokers. I pull out my ecig and I get some strange looks and I am waiting on some idiot to claim I am smoking drugs.

Yeah I get it all the time at the train station. I try to avoid blowing big clouds in people's faces, but on the packed commuter platforms it's hard not to. One woman started spazzing out like she was drowning in it until she realised it smelt faintly of blueberry. Especially with my big Vamo people look, can't work it out, and continue to peek. I just look back and smile.

Yesterday the postie delivered two Vivi Nova 2ml rebuildable tanks. They are producing a lovely vape from the eGo batts. Much, much better than the tanks that came with them.

I have to say they are great pieces of kit. When I first started using mine it had a weird plastic taste (new heads) and it didn't wick my mostly VG juice very well so I relegated it to the cupboard. I now mix mostly PG and love the capacity and flavour they give.

Looking forwards to giving rewicking a go so I can have an infinite supply of atties. Think I'll have to pick up a second nova for different flavours, but they're so easy to rinse out I haven't bothered yet.

On further inspection, those are slightly different to mine. I presume the VH Nova is just a knockoff of the Vivi nova. Presumably no different except in price Looks a bit different too with the longer cuffs.

EDIT: Nope, they are in fact just the mini version. The 3.5ml version is identical and half the price of the Vision version, so I may just have to get a few more for different flavours.

What happend to the postman coming whilst toast is just being put out on the table, just waiting for my Watermelon and Blueberry and a new Cartomizer to arrive, Unfortunately as it's new an ive had a play around the rube seal on my mouthpiece has jammed inside the edge of the cargo and I get slight slurping every now and again.. and im convinced its gonna poison me if I'm directly having contact with the liquid in my mouth haha!..

Although I wanna to vape for a longer period of time but this 18MG nicotine puts me on the floor!

Haha, no you'll just get a horrible taste in your mouth. 18mg is prety strong, I would start on 11mg. You will adapt to the 18mg if you stick with it though. If you don't need it though the lower strength can't be a bad thing.

You'll be mixing tour own soon enough. Makes the trial and error a fast and cheap process. 6mg is quite weak for me and doesn't have the throat hit I need. I like the mid ground of 12mg

Well im going to try 6MG in 1.5 Ohm as at the moment ive only tried in 3.0 Ohm and 2.4.. If that's still the case ideally I'd want 8/10MG ... The Boge has burnt out in about 2 hours, Get what you pay for I suppose!

You do occasionally get a bad one in the batch, but I would expect at least a week or two out of one.

You can fit any 510/ego atomiser on there, but those clearos can be bought from ecigwizard, vapourhut, and a few other sites. What liquid did you get with it?

Talking about batteries, I've gone off the idea of short moding the Vamo. I set it up with the 18650 tube taken out and the button isn't in a good spot to use like that. In 18350 mode the button it pretty much right in the middle of your hand. Think I'm going to get a twist for my going out battery.

I thought the same thing. I'll let you know if it bugs me when I get my 18350s. I think I'll probably end up using my middle finger on the button.

I tend to go for about 10 or 11 watts I am a throat hit junkie though.

Cjgardens, occasionally some vapour will condense it the mouthpiece and might end up in your mouth. I combat this by having my ecig at a more vertical position (like you would hold gandalfs long pipe. No not that one you dirty perverts). It my be worth making sure you aren't over filling the device though, as that can worsen the effect. It certainly shouldn't happen all the time if you keep it pointed mostly downwards anyway. Some atties are worse for it than others (metal mouthpieces are bad for it when it's cold).

I do, on my dc cartos I go for 11 or 12 watts. I think it's because the coils are in parallel so they measure as 1.5ohms despite only getting half the current through them. I go 10 watts for my 2.4ohm heads on my nova too.

Dehydration from the sauce and PG in your juice

This. I found moving to a mostly PG mix gave me a bit of a dry throat at first, but it doesn't seem to be an issue now so maybe I've adjusted. I do drink a lot of water/squash etc. though.

As an aside I met a rep for Apollo ecigs in Camden town this afternoon and swindled two of their disposables - not bad in an emergency, I've seen them about in newsagents etc

The vamo is a great bit of kit and I'm very happy with mine. The lavatube presents a cheaper option if you're just looking to dip your toes in the water (or even a twist) but the vamo is a solid device. I'll keep my eyes peeled for your message.

Tbh mate, the ego battery kits are so cheap to buy now it would be better value to pick one up new instead of using my old batteries (they don't hold a charge as well as when they were new). I'm currently vaping honeydew melon from Totally wicked. I think their red label stuff uses the same concentrate and it is delicious.
