Can anyone suggest a cheapish good quality non vv mod that will take standard 18650 or similar battery?

Fed up of my cheap vv battery and ideally would like an itaste svd but don't really want to spend that much. Happy enough with the vape from standard ego battery but would like something a bit beefier to go with nova or kanger tank.

How about £13 for a UDT-L 510 MOD? http://www.vapegear.co.uk/product/udt-l
or
the Bolt for £25 http://www.ecigwizard.com/the-bolt-mod/the-bolt-body-only.html
or the Siegel for £30 http://www.vapegear.co.uk/Sigelei_Telescope_19/p1826719_9481506.aspx

or not in a hurry a KTS Storm from Fasttech http://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004497/1363300-kts-electronic-cigarette-battery-compartment

Gutted, how did you manage that? I've got 4 KPT's and non of them have done that, the only issue I've had is when my GF dropped my Vamo with PT attached and bent the thread on the base which then soon broke off completely leaving the thread in the vamo......

Luckily a very patient friend of mine got the busted thread out!

The siegel looks good, looking on that site is there a difference between the 19 and the 19b?

Completely mechanical sounds good to me.

Is the charger on their site sufficient? This one - http://www.vapegear.co.uk/Trustfire_2_Port_Charger/p1826719_9109111.aspx

Would be easier to order from one place.

And any specific batteries that I should get? I read somewhere that protected batteries are required with a mechanical mod.

Not got a clue how it happened, especially little use its had.

Going to get some epoxy resin tomorrow and glue it back together.

I've heard of it happening but everyone it happened to knew why. Basically dropped on stone or knocked hard. You are the first case I've heard of it 'just happening'.

If you want a very authentic tobacco flavour then I would suggest El Toro El Cigarillos which is available from house of liquid. It's a bit pricey, but it really is fantastic and blows synthetic liquids out of the water.
I almost fell over when I saw house of liquids new pricing. Utterly insane. Nice liquids (guervo is my fave) but £20 for 30mil is just way too much.

You could look into steeping your own. There are a few threads on UKV about it. They buy some high class tobacco and steep it. I don't care enough about tobacco flavours any more to bother.

Went to Northwich Vapour again today. My God this store is good, right in the town centre and they have no online outlet.
Amazing, genuinely helpful.
From what I can tell they have virtually everything, excellently priced; I mean most of it is cheaper than buying online.
They even have juice companies making them exclusive flavours, I tried a couple of their T-Juice exclusives today and that is the crux which made me have to post of my experience.
Lord knows how much I have wasted buying a juice only to find it not for me.
I tried about a dozen juices there today and I could have tried more.
Just top notch, down to earth vapours providing excellence.

Once more try Northwich Vapours if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed

B.t.w I live in South Manchester and NV is totally a different class setup to anything here, like all about the money and palming you off with outdated crap.

Cigarillos is in 60ml bottles for £20 summit. If you look around the forums Vape pit, Planet of the Vapes e.t.c. You'll see House of Liquids El Toro is one of the only juices they deem worthy of paying for.
Also many have tried self steeping and still come back, I for one spent quite a bit on the best Cuban tobbacco trying to emulate Cigarillos, though it came out like the Guevara which is not to my taste. Hardly saved any money and the product was inferior. Hence again why a lot of seasoned vapours/mixers say El Toro is the only juice they would pay for.

Cigarillos is my all day vape.

Although I have something that may better it from the same company which is their El Toro Grande Virginia kit. Meant to be the closest thing thing to smoking a cigarette. They don't sell it directly on the HOL website as it contains tobacco leaves.

It is made by steeping premium quality organic Canadian Virginia Prime tobacco leaves in the base liquid. What that means is that the leaves haven't been contaminated with herbicides and pesticides, and that's an important consideration for liquids that are steeped.

The idea is that you steep the liquid yourself until it reaches the ideal state for you - then you decant it to the empty bottle via the funnel, using the filter material to catch any small particles.

Should be arriving tomorrow so looking forward to it.

Anyone here got one of those KTS storms? I have to say it does look like a bit of a bargain. Not sure how my RSST would look on the brass though :/

Just recoiled/wicked my first V3 head. Works just like new! Bit of a faff first time but I reckon with some practice I'll have it down to a couple of minutes :)

is this a good first time kit

http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Deluxe-...n-1000/Vape-Escape-Vision-1000-Ultimate.html?

What are the consumables? Liquid was obvious but are there any specifics that should be stocked up on?

I've been using Visions for a few months (been vaping 2 years) and it ain't half bad. There is a lot of subjectivity as to what's good and not so good, so I'm sure others will chime in too. The consumables are atomiser heads and liquid on these. You can also replace the tank body and mouthpiece should you need/want to as well.

Heads

Whole atomisers

Mouthpiece/tip

I'd get one of each resistance head, to see which works best for you.

Also, get a spare charger. They are usually the weak link

Edit 2: you can also rewire and wick the heads, to save buying new ones so often, just did 2 of mine now, they are better than oem if I do say so myself :D
