That's a police baton not an ecig! You could stack 18650s in all those tubes :p

Let us know how the V3 is Rilot. I'm all for performance improvements (what changes did they make, if any?), but I have to say I'm not a fan of the new look. It looks "ribbed for her pleasure" if you get me.

New vamo arrived from vaporbreak today. I bought the chrome one by mistake! Gutted! It has the clear screen at least, so that's some consolation, but still!

I see it the same as the PC overclocking scene. You could say "I bought my first PC from a high-street shop last week, what is all this stuff about watercooling, overclocking and case mods?"

Same thing.

Good analogy.

Essentially, what many of us have are enthusiast devices that require a fair bit of fiddling and knowledge to get going, but that provide much better performance in terms of battery life/vapour production/throat hit/flavour.

If you ever feel like your existing kit isn't cutting it for you, or if you want to reduce your monthly outgoings by mixing your own liquids, rebuilding your atomisers etc, we can help :)

Just looking at getting a Vamo. What tank setups do people usually use with them? I have a Vivi Nova and a Kanger.

Both of those would be great on a Vamo. I've recently entered the world of genesis atties and am enjoying my RSST (after a week of frustrating learning I should add), but a nova and Vamo were my fav combo until then (and I still like that combo for out and about). I found .3 ribbon kanthal and 3mm silica wick were the dogs danglies for rebuilding Novas btw. So easy to wrap an even coil and sorts the hot legs right out.

I new to all this and only just found this thread, and boy its a mind field out there. So many different combinations and finding a decent stockist is a mission on its own.

Current got a Kanger Tank and Vamo on order. But looking at this thread I think I need a Provari Mini v2.5 in my life but is it worth the extra expense?

If you're new to it, no. The Vamo is great, and it'd be a while before you appreciated the subtle improvements a provari would offer. I want one too though :D

Another vote for the Vamo. Ego batts just don't cut it for me anymore. I was stuck with my old ego batts when my vamo died and it was the roughest week. Had to dig out my old lavatube with the stripped threads to survive!

I've got my eye on one, if I can flog my Vamo v2 to someone. Also looking at getting a rsst atomizer.

VapourBreak are selling eliquid once again - 50ml of Hangsen in various flavours and strengths for $4.50 (approximately $8 delivered). That's about the cheapest pre-made juice I've found.
Already got 150ml 8mg Apple, 50ml 8mg Mixed Berry and 50ml 0mg Caramel for just over £16 delivered. To put into context, that's 8 times as much juice for a fiver more than 30mls costs from Vapeland!

Word of advice if this is your first genesis: wrap the coil around something that fits the wick hole, pulse the coil a few times to oxidise it, THEN thread your wick into the coil. That advice stopped me throwing the thing out the window after several days of frustrating shorts. Now I love it and only use my novas for... well I don't, but I still have them in case of emergency!

Bonjourno fellow vapists! In 2 days I will have been vaping for 2 years and posted in this thread 156 time . Incredibly two of my original TW Tornado/eGo batteries are still with me, along with a 900mA purchased a few months after, and all still working. I do notice they are dropping off a little in run time and one vapes better than the other, so it really is battery time!

I've decided that mods are probably not for me, I can't imagine carrying a Vamo or Prov around in pocket. What eGo batteries is everyone using? VV Twists any good? I had a passthrough from ECW, which was awesome for sitting at work/home on the computer, but that died a death after only a couple of months.

Also, could the longevity of my batteries be down to using regular USB chargers, rather than fast chargers/high amperage wall chargers? Suits me fine, I have three on rotation at the mo

The VV ego-style batts are worth a punt alright. But it's a gateway drug. Once you go VV, you don't go back!

PS: 570 posts!

+1 for the nitecore charger. I have the i4 and it's great being able to charge all 4 18650s after a weekend away, or to mix 18350 and 18650 batts. Panasonic make some decent batts too, but torchy has good deals and is easier to find.

The ability to charge different batteries at the same time is very handy. The 18650s do take a while to charge though. I've only just charged the two I have for the first time and it was something like 8 hours. How long does it take with all 4 in there?

Sounds delicious :) I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Pretty sure mine don't take that long, but I do swap them out at 3.7V at least. With all 4 I generally charge them overnight so not sure!

I started off on 18MG (Came with a starter kit) It made me light headed, Went straight on to 6MG for 2/3 Weeks, Not enough throat hit so I ordered a VV device and again stil not enough at this rate I was flying through juice.

I have tried many fruity flavours and even at 12MG still not a major throat hit, I can't seem to get on with them.. My latest being Grizwalds Strawberry Ice Cream not enough throat hit at 10MG for me.

My vape 99% of the time is 8MG HS Menthol from Vape Escape, decent flavour and a cracking throat hit for the low amount of nicotine which is the reason I get on with menthol.

Had some blips with a drink recently, But more because I decided I wanted to for a change but then clearly realised I could never go Mon-Sun smoking 10/15 per day.

4 months and I have smoked maybe 10 BH Silvers in that time, So less than I would in 12 hours.

Not bad I'd say.

What atty are you using? May be worth trying a dual coil to get more throat hit.

Lost my TW twist , loved that shape over the lavatube type so after a bit of searching ended up with this Apollo VV 3-6v 1200mah passthrough.
At 4v with a 1.8ohm coil in the evod this is superb.
Just got to cut down from 36mg now , anyone know a good throat hitter thats around 24mg , came off 200 capstans a week so need a bit of a kick .

That's quite cool. As far as throat hit, I'm finally happy with my RSST, and occasionally even dip below my usual 10W. Being able to wrap your own coils on an atomiser can make all the difference in adjusting the experience to suit you. RSST might look a bit silly on that battery though.

I just got some butterscotch fluid from ecigarettedepot. MY GOD! I've just vaped about 5ml of it this evening. It's absolutely delicious.

That sounds good. I've always found butterscotch flavours a bit sickly, so if you've found one that you can vape all night then I may need to give it a go!

I would consider 2 of those Apollo batteries pictured above (variable voltage so you can get more of a hit out of your atomiser) and then you'd need a charger, some liquid and an atomiser to put it in. Atomiser choice is quote personal, but the lads on here seem to rate the kanger protank or the evod. What I use isn't particularly beginner friendly, but I can recommend a vivi nova as a simple and effective solution if neither of those takes your fancy.

Hi guys, been doing a hell of a lot of research on this in the last few days but still stuck on what to get! The problem is I do a lot of manual work outside so something real nice (such as the above) is just not practical to carry around with me. I am very tempted, and probably will get something larger and nicer for weekends/evenings eventually.

I know most of these stealthy ones tend to be quite weak in comparison but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this? Innokin AIO I watched a guy review it on youtube and was quite surprised with the amount of vapor it made.

If anyone has any ideas for something better that will fit in my jeans pocket without getting in my way at work that would be fantastic. I don't smoke a huge amount as it is (10-15 rollies a day) so something with that kinda battery life would be preferable. Thanks!

Maybe something like this?
http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Deluxe-Vaping-Kits/EVOD-650/EVOD-650-Kit.html

would give better performance but still retain a small profile (think cigar size). All you need then is a liquid of choice and you're away. Those atomiser heads are the only consumable there and 5 should last you a fair while and you can just replace them when needed quite cheaply.

Do you have a link for where you bought it from?

Sorry for your loss :p but thanks for sharing, as I am seriously considering either the ProTank, Aga or the RSST as my next purchase. I love the look and opaque tank of the RSST, but want the glass and ease of use of the ProTank.
There are a couple of options on VapourBreak, not sure on the quality though...

I love my RSST. Easy to set up (once you get the hang of it, which takes a bit of frustration, be warned), solid, cheap. Some people are drilling out the airhole, but I am happy as it is.

Recoiling yourself is the way forwards. No more mystery dud heads, just fix it yourself! Silica is easy to learn on too.
