Was not ur fault bro, btw i liked the juice its my stupid throat thats noobing out.

Also the tank just failed I think i either it was screwed in to tight and it cracked due to imperfections or it just failed because the tank itself failed.

No worries dude, feel free to pass them on. Does the juice taste burnt to you? What wattage are you using?

Will watch it later and add that to my arsenal of videos!! :)
Do you double up the ends and twist? It's supposed to reduce resistance a bit and also keep the wire cooler around the grommet area.

When I was using .15 nichrome I did because I had terrible hotspots and burning grommets (I go for high watts which made it worse). It does help a lot. I now use .3 ribbon kanthal which is not only easier to wrap a nicely spaced coil, but it has completely resolved the hot legs issue. Highly recommend it!

I bought the vapourbreak vamo, because mine is definitely on the way out (it seems to be outputting way less power than it did, and I can see the coil pulsing when it should be a solid glow). I'll learn to live with the darker lcd :p My ego batts will keep me going for now, because they are performing better than my vamo right now.

Hi chaps, quick question for you.

What is the best I can buy, for around £30 - £40?

I have an old Tornado-T from the Totally Wicked place, and although it was fine at first, it just does not give me enough umph! Gone back to smoking roll ups as it didn't work for me. Problems I have with it is the liquid is leaking out slowly, the pieces you inhale from, they just break, split, leak etc.

Did I just buy a piece of pooh, when they were 'the rage' as such?

What would you reccomend me for the £30 - £40 mark? Something that is quite durable, but provides a good draw too.

Thanks!

If you want more umph then I would suggest a variable voltage device like the vamo so you can turn up the power. Put a vivi nova on top and you'll have something easy to use that performs well.

I've noticed a TECC store in Oldham on my commute, I may have to stop in and see what the craic is.

E: correction, it's run by "iBreathe" which is the stupidest name for a company ever.

I just had a go with 2mm silica. Coils seemed even and a dry burn didn't show any hotspots but when I put it back together and dripped juice onto it, I got loads of hot spitting juice and not very much vapour. I think I'll leave it for tonight :D

I think I've settled with cartos and tanks now for daily vaping. May not produce the same flavour as drippers and wicks but it's quite hassle free once you know what you're doing.

I have the same issue with my RSST. I'm still wrestling with this ss wick stuff, but can't seem to get it right no matter what I try.

You tried pulsing? Wrap the coil around something that fits in the hole (drillbit method), take the drillbit out and fire it on a low volt a few times. Flame the mesh just enough to clean any machine oil or anything off it. Then roll a wick that fits in the coil and is just a little loose. Pulse the button and now and then turn the wick about a little. Keep doing that until the whole coil heats up evenly.

This is the method I've been using and so far it is the best one yet for me.

I'll give that a go. So far I've been flaming the mesh, wrapping the coil and pulsing/poking. I can never seem to get the final coil on the bottom to glow.

I gave this a go, and tentatively feel it may have fixed the problems I was having!

Nice one - cheers

I have the i4 charger and it is the dogs. My first one turned up doa from ecigwizard, but was replaced in days and hasn't missed a beat since.

As far as premixed flavours go, I can never recommend el toro el cigarillos highly enough if you like tobacco flavours, although I actually like the red label stuff myself. I mix my own these days so I can't be of much more help I'm afraid.

In case you guys haven't heard, it's time to stock up on batts because they will have to be couriered now due to the fire risk posed by shipping loads of batts. This only applies to companies so we can still post each other batts, but I would expect the increased shipping costs to be passed on to us soon.

Oh yeah, for those of you with RSSTs, mine seems to leak slightly from where the base meets the tank. Is this a common issue and if so what's the fix?

That vent hole at the bottom of your vamo? Imagine what happens if the top battery vents and that hole is blocked by another battery.

That dome does sound like it ticks all the boxes. Watching with interest! Double U wick :D Also liking the look of that nemesis mod. How much did that set you back?

DCT are certainly easy to use. I would recommend a variable voltage device as well (you can get a vamo clone dirt cheap from china at fastech or vapourbreak with certain codes etc) so you can crank up the volts and get a more satisfying vape. El toro liquids have the most authentic tobacco taste I've ever vaped if you want that (el cigarillos is my fav for cigarette flavour).

We already know what the outcome of this will be. Clinical trials will happen and then they will be re-classified as a medicine and regulated down to 1mg or something.

I can't see how they can ban sales of vaping gear though. They would have to ban the devices themselves which are just batteries and a heating element. Or they would have to ban the sale of nicotine solution which also has other uses.

The only thing they will be able to regulate are the actual e-cigarettes which are sold and marketed as such.

I hope you're right!
