Can't find a UK stockist of the nativ...perhaps my Google foo is weak.

I had a bottle of the m&s 2014 macon villages on Saturday- best white for under £10 says decanter, and I must admit I was impressed.

I ordered my bottle from Germany, I think you're right in there not being a UK stockist.

I got mine from this place:

That's a link to the Blu I got from them too.
There is a "damaged" one too, which is what I got (the labels are crinkled?) but I couldn't give a hoot: https://www.silkes-weinkeller.de/index.php?cl=details&anid=48dab4e9c1897db272cf136d92b911cf - not for an extra 2EUR off a bottle.
That's well worth a try if you're ordering. It's not as heavy and rich as the other Nativ (here: https://www.silkes-weinkeller.de/index.php?cl=details&anid=IT11350) but it's a stunner of a bottle in my opinion.

Delivery is good and quick from these guys too.

What sort of price range?

I have a bottle of Louis tonight. The Mother is visiting for the night, so it's Champagne on Wednesday.

The black craft, barossa shiraz...4 stars for me. Subtle oak, but a big punchy wine as expected.

It's pretty good stuff that. Magpie estate are a collaboration between Noel Young (A British wine merchant based near Cambridge) and Rolf Binder who's pretty well known in the Barrosa valley. I've had a few bottle of that recently (the 2012 was very good). I've also got a bottle of their "The Election" 2010 slowly maturing in my wine rack.

The Black craft is quite a lot like the tim adams shiraz you bought, but you can taste the subtle difference between Barossa and Clare valley. Barossa is brasher, Clare slightly more restrained (For an aussie).
Penfold's Grange (Australia's most famous wine) is made using grapes from both valleys (And coonawarra and Magil as well).

Another Magpie estate wine which is similar and in the same price bracket would be the knock knock shiraz.

Going to look into those...thanks!

Drinking the montes alpha cab tonight and it's just lovely. A great drop! Thanks for the recommendation

Went to a small but very good tasting of BlankBottle wines yesterday evening. Some lovely wines on offer, and it was a struggle the temptation of buying too much.

Got home and watched episode 2 of The Wine Show. Was pleased to see them take a visit to Montes winery in Chile where they produce Purple Angel :).
