Holding off playing too much until the patch is ready as well.

Most of us that pre-ordered payed over the odds compared to the price you can pick it up for now and for what? so we can sit around for a couple of weeks waiting for them to fix problems that should never have been in a product deemed release ready.

As the saying goes 'once bitten, twice shy', I'll certainly not be buying any sequel or other game from the same devs until some time after launch.

That's up to you, but you're missing out (as suprafogg's screen shots show). It's perfectly fine to play, I've not had any problems that have interrupted the gameplay in any way, and I'm a crossfire user. Stop being all bitter and wingey and get on with enjoying it. ;)

Fiar enough Wolvers, it's fine for you, but for some of us it is completely unplayable atm (research suggests that the retail version is worse than the others).
I certainly can't play it until the 2 patches come out(though i really want to as i have a couple of days off work):)

Edit- btw, i am sure it will be a great game when i can actually play it

Toys>Pram
There's always a patch in the first few weeks.
The price always drops after preorder.

Surely you're aware of this? Personally I don't have time to play it right now, so I cancelled my preorder knowing I'll be able to pick it up for £17.99 in a few weeks. That's just how it works, you pay a premium to get it immediately, like any other game.

Besides, it looks like the game is perfectly playable right now. Otherwise how have so many people completed it? ;)

/edit: Fair enough I see it doesn't seem playable for some of you. Not so good then.

I don't think that any of the problems that i am having are really graphical as i am getting good fps (not running cf atm as one of my cards has had to be RMA'd)

My main problems are-
Key bindings not being saved (they even go back to default during the game)
Graphics settings also reset
still can not access any dlc, Troll trouble or Pre-order
had about 5 ctd's just after loading screens.
some environments not being loaded 'til about 30 seconds after i enter them. and npc's just appearing in front of me and disappearing sometimes

the dlc and ctd problems are supposed to be fixed in the patch at least. Not aure about the key bindings being reset, as i haven't found anyone else with that problem.

BTW i don't want it to seem like i am raging aginst the game, as i am looking forward to playing it, and i am sure it will be great:)

That's a fair few issues there. I have not experienced any of them and I use an xbox pad so have no idea about key bindings. I downloaded the troll trouble dlc without issue.
The only minor issue I have is sometimes when I load the launcher it says "connection unavailable" but if I leave it a few mins it sorts itself out.

Well interesting one this.

Installed the game and entered my key, you briefly get a message saying looking for updates then nothing?

Click the launcher icon and it again asks for my key.:(

Thats weird mine asked for the key, gave a message about activating and then a message saying I can now install using this key on as many machines as I want. ? The update happened automatically when the launcher started and has never asked for my key again...

Edit - Maybe the activation/update server is down there have been issues getting the latest patch out..?
