I didnt change a single setting in for the game apart from putting it straigt to medium. No AA is abit of a bummer though... might put it on and see how it goes.I still think it looks like one of the best pc games ever even on medium settings. Not too sure I can push my pc anymore though. It has dipped to the low 20's but its never got choppy.
One thing I am finding really annoying is not being able to use potions or cancel a potion when there are enemies near by. I used my cat potion for the sewer part and when I got out, I still had 2 minutes left on it but couldn't cancel it. Really annoying.
Loving this game so much right now. It feels like an epic, like Lord of the rings epic. Kinda like the fact its really hard, even on medium. a lot of people are saying its kinda like Demon's Souls in this way. Shame about the AI just bum rushing you into a corner... you stand no chance if you get ganged up on... well, you wouldn't stand much of a chance if you got gang raped in real life either. Hope theres some crowd control moves/spells later on in the game.
I am glad I played a few hours of TW1 before playing TW2. Just shows how different these games are. TW1 is more of an old school game like NWN but I hate to say it, TW2 is seems like its made for consoles. It has all the inner hooks of a console game. If you compare the UI from the first game to this one, its pretty ovbious what they had in mind. Saying that, there is no release date for the console version yet.
Spoiler? Pretty early on.
Not played much yet but my favorite part in the game so far was killing that soldier that was ordering his men to kill all the unarmed villagers. Then I robbed all the vilagers after I saved them. Totally playing a dick in this game.
