Even though i am not planning to play it yet, i have just installed it. Had to neter activation key a few times, but got it in the end.
The problem that i am having is with the Ultimate swordsman suit i got with Amazon pre-order.
These are the instructions-
When i launch the game, there is no Activation tab, so i go to the DLC tab, which is just a blank screen with a "preorder code redemption" box in it, so i enter the code and it says "invalid activation key"
Also, how do you get that Troll Trouble thing?
cheers
yeah i'm running as admin, and cutting and pasting the code
I forgot about the pre-order armour ! anyone who ordered from Play got their code yet ?
Does your level and xp from the first game have any impact on the game?
I am playing it atm and want to know if it is worth doing all of the contracts to get the extra xp? What exactly carries over?
In Mass Effect, there was an incentive to get to as high a level as possible, as it meant you got more in the second game, is this the same?

Would be nice if I even got my copy full stop. Still hasn't arrived despite being posted on Friday.![]()
I did not receive my armour bonus code so emailed Play, they sent me the code within 3 hours so not bad.
Anyone else finding combat really difficult?
While I'm no gaming master, I'm certainly not an idiot when it comes to these things. I'm finding combat really hard, especially against 2+ mobs at a time.
I got through the first part of the game and invested in some bombs, traps etc. I came to the cave with the Nekters and was getting absolutely destroyed. I turned it to Easy and I still find myself bouncing off the mobs while they overwhelm me.
I've tried trap laying, cycling through Signs, throwing bombs and blocking etc. But the combat seems so clunky and skittish that its hard to control. To get past those Nekters I had to one by one pull them from the group and run/roll back to the invisible line in the cave where they didn't follow me.
Other than the combat, I think the game is awesome. Either I'm doing something wrong or the combat needs fixing. I never had this problem in W1.
