The Witcher 3 Benchmarks

This game runs like dog crap for me.

Titan Black SLI @ 4k. Right now I am running a 8 core 2ghz Xeon waiting on a board replacement for my 3970x but yeah, total dog doos. Even at medium settings I'm barely making 25 FPS.

Hoping it's my CPU at fault but GTAV and PCars run lovely with my rig.

You are at 4k resolution!

Down scale it to 1440p and your probably be all right. Also your gonna need to wait for Nvidia to sort Kepler performance in this game via a driver, to get the best out of the cards.

I'll wait :) still very much into GTAV so hopefully when I'm done with that they will release a better driver :)

Updated to new patch, now nvidia driver keeps crashing(TW3 game driver)

Rolled back patch rather than driver,i was getting great performance anyways and was stable as a rock ingame.

FYI, TW3 hates OC's on the GPU from what I gather reading around the net.

I have seen thius mentioned a few places, but plenty of people are running cards at stock after running into multiple crashes and still get them.

Its prob just the driver being janky as hell.

Up until now i have at least 60hrs ingame, only 3 crashes till new patch, all in the inventory screens, non responsive game, sound continues as normal.

Today it would crash during actual gameplay :/

Seems fine so far since rolling back patch tho,so cant complain too muchhad great performance/stablity for the most part

the latest game patch v1.04 is causing my driver crashes. was fine with game patch v1.03 with 352.86 drivers. didnt have a single driver crash until then.

isnt there a feature on gog where you can roll back game patches????

have done a post patch video of my gtx 780 kelper poor fps. with settings. really hope nvidia sort this out.

yeh about 20% worse than a 290
possibly more depending on overclock etc

you should do one with hairworks on and off it would be interesting to see
atleast theyve acknowledged the problem thats something
there is some stuff u can turn down but not sure why you should have to at 1080p

I've actually had some instant crash to desktops. The game just disappears suddenly. :/
