The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Been playing the Witcher 2 recently and while I can see why it was highly rated (nice graphics, large and interesting world) I feel like it's maybe lacking the polish that a lot of other AAA games have, and I really don't like the combat. It's annoyingly difficult to block when you're fighting more than one opponent and I just end up rolling around a lot to avoid attacks. I know it's an RPG, but I think the combat should be more fluid like the AC or Batman series.

Other than that I don't really have any complaints, I just hope they make the combat a bit more engaging.

I got battered during the tutorial and promptly played something else. Weak, I know.

Getting a bit caught up in the excitement. Might preorder. My first preorder since the original F.E.A.R . Even thinking of getting the Collector's Edition but it's a bit hefty at £140 over here.

Started playing The Witcher 2 and 4 hours in I quit and pre ordered Wild Hunt on Steam. Holding my hand up and say that I were going to pirate it first to see if I like it but if it's anything like Witcher 2, they can have my money. Got it for $47 USD which I thought are a very very fair price. Only 6 months to go :(

Witcher 1 is far better btw, sure it does not look as good but the game is longer and the story is much better imo. Not saying Witcher 2 is a bad game either cause the game is freaking awesome but the first one is on a whole different level of awesomeness. Both games pretty much beat all other games on the planet though.

Not played Witcher 1 for some reason. Bought both years ago but never botherd playing. Over 80 games bought on Steam and played a third, if that.

I think Witcher 2 is pretty damn awesome. Love story driven games.

The assassination of king Foltest were one of the best story moments I've seen in a game. Spellbound

I never completed Witcher 1, never completed Witcher 2, bought both as near to release as possible though.

The developers deserve the money. Both are incredible games I just don't have the patience for games like that anymore.

Roll on Witcher 3 so I can give them more money.

The cities look amazing. Like something out of Assassin's Creed which is something I have always wanted in an RPG. I can't wait!

I was disappointed with the other gameplay video though to see that there are still these practically naked peasants attacking Geralt with sticks. It is just ridiculous! One of the things I didn't like about TW2
