The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

No online component, no.

As for reasons, price? TW3 is £44 on PS4 via the rainforest. The PC version is a tenner cheaper, or there's the great GoG deal (£36.49 for the digital copy, DRM free, £7.80 back in GoG credit and a bunch of bonus content). Add in the 'bleeding edge gfx', faster updates and the fact that purchases via GoG mean the developer receives more of the money you're paying and it's a no-brainer IMHO.

Now delayed until May 2015. I can wait :)

Happy to wait for this game, and for one I'm happy they are making an actual PC game. We've got endless ****e console ports to play till this PC game is released.

Game looks amazing...sad thing is ive had the two previous games in my library for ages and not touched em :(
Love rpgs but cant find time to play em.

You need to find time! Witcher 1 can seem a little dated now but it's still fantastic, and 2 is just amazing... Get them done before 3 comes out :)

I need to order Witcher 3, still haven't done it. I'm going to get it from gog though, as I really like the developers ethos and would like to support them directly. However, I will order it through a US proxy as I'd rather have it cheaper than have £7 gog credit.

I really want a physical copy of the game for the extra stuff but also would like the steam version as that keeps most of my games in one place. Finally I want to support the developer so the gog version looks rather appealing too.

What I will probably end up doing is getting a physical copy to begin with and adding a steam copy during a sale.

You should be able to register the key of your physical copy on steam.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that the physical copy is on steam though. I would guess it is for gog as they own it

Glad they have done it again, rather it was pretty much bug free on launch. SO many companies today rush these games out and it bites them in the butt in the end.

I second that, I honestly do not care about a release date as long as the game is good. The amount of time I will spend enjoying it will be the same, whether that be in February/March or May/June.
