The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Random questions as I have been away

1. What exactly is the XP bug? Does it mean zero XP or much lower than expected?
2. What mod are we using to counetract this? Or has it been fixed?

Can't imagine why though. Considering there is still water tessellation, and how much line tessellation there is within HairWorks!

It's a darn shame! It feels so wrong travelling all over Skellige and only get choppy water at best. No wonder they all think they're amazing sailors, there's no issues at all bar idiots sailing into rocks :D

Funny we're talking about this as I just had a weird bug in the ocean. The sea went calm as a millpond. So I thought, ok let's meditate for a few hours and see what happens - came back to waves 10 or more metres high, with the boat being thrown under :D (in a very unauthentic this is broken fashion lol).

Still a kitchen rolls worth of bugs that need ironing out :(. It's a shame as it's still one of the best RPG's of all time, almost the best if not for things like this.

Anyone else want to smack Dandelion in the face with a morning star?

If I had known how many 'quests' it would produce I wouldn't have bothered but its part of the story so I have no choice.

He could do half these things himself, doesn't take a Witcher to do them.

Dandelion's outfit, my eyes they burn. He would make a gay person nervous :)

Funniest part of game IMO. Dont look unless you Done Kaer Morhen

Done the game. Best RPG ever. Has raised the bar for future open world games. No loading screens was the best part :)

Does the latest patch give you the ability to skip Dandelion's monotonous "recap" every time you load?

Have you tries pressing "X" (if using gamepad) to skip?

I know it's not ideal, but at least it helps to flip through the cut scenes if you've seen them before.

Just finished. Great game, but it really drops the ball in the final third. It kind of runs out of steam. It is like they rushed the last chapter:
I killed Radovid, everyone acts like he is still alive.
No idea what happened to half of the characters
After some quests, characters just stand around not reacting to anything(Thaler, Roach, Dandelion, everyone after main story ends)
Cleared a monsters nest and villagers moved in there- One character said i was amazing, then in the next breath they are all spitting at you!

It seems like there is a lot less reactivity, and less care after the battle of Kaer Morhen.

Also, not sure if it is just the ending I got, but it was very disappointing. Half of the characters weren't even mentioned in the ending slides, and weren't spoken to either.

Great game that I will replay again after dlc/patches. I just wish they hadn't completely gutted the RPG elements of the game, as they are sorely lacking. Also, the levelling is really out of sync. I was constantly coming up against enemies thinking 'I bet this would be great if I weren't 8 levels too high'.

I'd give it a 9/10

That skips the normal in-game cutscenes, but not the "previously in the game you were playing 14 seconds ago" one that plays every single time you load a game...

You could skip it before the patch, only lets you skip once its finished loading in the background though, usually about half way through for me on an SSD. Its either enter or space (maybe both) I can't remember which

Thought I'd give Official GeForce Hotfix 353.12 drivers a go, played about one hour of The Witcher 3, then instant freeze up, " Driver has stopped responding "
