The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Every quest you do seems to trigger another, I avoided going to the Isle of mists to start the final sequences, well I did go but when it said a number of other quests will fail I declined & decided to clear up some of the side quests but even more keep popping up

Even after latest patch there are at least two quests that still won't work properly so I had to abandon them

The Isle of Mists is nowhere near the final sequences... It is only the end of act 2!

Played from 3pm till 11pm last night and that White Hunt battle was

I have however noticed a few oddities in the game which I am not sure what's causing it. Every so often probably once every 3 hours, the game does a strange stutter/stall like the type you get from a thrashed hard drive (SSD), it even did an infinite load about 7 hours into the game :(

Played this through once on PS4 (came with the console). Lots of fun, although I didn't quite get the ending I was after.

Reading the books now to tide me over until the inevitable PC Extended Edition then I'll do a replay. I really hope they flesh out some of the post-romance choice consequences. I'd be well up for some more adventures playing as Ciri too, really enjoyed her moveset towards the end of the game.

Really recommend reading the first couple of books (that's as far as I've got so far) to fill in some of the backstory.

Apart from just two non completable buggy quests, the entire game was amazing to play. Right from the start and to the end, never have I come across a game that felt like a book and a movie rolled up in to one. Especially like those awesome cut scene bits with all the explosions and power :D

I also believe I got the good ending, pretty much everyone seems to be happy

anyone got a save game where they've just entered skellige?

got the DRM free verion of TW3 and did a fresh install of win 10 and forgot to backup saves :(

thanks

I've only just started in skellige pretty much, so my save might be what you're after.

I've only got as far as the bit after meeting up with yennefer, seeing the funeral for that bloke, having a punch up with some bloke in that big hall after exploring the lab, then talking about where i have to go next. Not actually done anything in skellige apart from that.

EDIT: infact i might have a save that's literally just before entering skillege too if you wanted to start from there?
EDIT2: emailed your trust email with a link to my saves.

I can't get that link at work, what's the TLDR?

They're saying a CD Project employee (he gave them a copy of his payslip) said they are meeting with EA, suggests a buyout or publishing deal but thinks the former.

It's quite funny, they basically say they're not sure about the facts or whether any of it is true, in which case you don't really have a story now do you?

How does this run on a 7970 3GB at 1080p? I'm finally thinking of picking this up and not sure whether it's time to accept I might have a better experience on the PS4 compared to my GPU...

I have 8GB of 2133MHz RAM and a 4770K at 4.5GHz so that should be fine.

A bit late to the party with this one.

I played for a few hours and I just cannot get into the combat system.

I dislike having to lock to one target and be re-active to their attacks instead of pro-actively attacking.

Is it like this all the way through or does it open up somewhat oncce you unlock more traits and feats?
