The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Thanks, I'll try that out. Need something!

There are loads of mods that fix annoyances on there. One essential one I use is one that removes the annoying pop ups that appear for no reason above people's heads that you can talk to.

I'd like one that removes the igniting candles ability...has anyone found any use for that being in the game?! As far as I can tell it exists solely to frustrate!

Also, I highly recommend the mod that improves trophies making them much more useful.

Still to this day, it makes me giggle when I die. I always end up bunny hopping into a floppy mess.

As though Geralt has one last spring in his step... 'So long and thanks for all the fish!'.

Man, 235 hours, game and expansions finished, and all I want to do is play more..
I want Blood and Wine already...and more expansions afterwards..

980Ti owners... Can you run everything maxed with hairworks enabled at 1440p and maintain 60fps yet? I've always had to switch hairworks off but apparently the latest patch has improved performance?

I'm now rocking a 980TI at 1440p. I normally run without hairworks, Motion Blur and AA. Never felt the need for AA at 1440p, but I've just tested hairworks (low) in Novigrad.

Night Time - Solid 60fps running around the city
Day Time - Very occasional stutter, with dips to 55fps, but this was only in the first few seconds. Pretty much locked to 60 after those first few seconds.

Also tried some combat out in the wilderness fighting some wolves and was a smooth 60fps with no dips.

If I enable Hairworks at High setting, it feels a little sluggish, but still remains between 55-60fps, but for me the ever so slight stutter when moving the mouse makes it not worth it.

In my experience playing this game for the last 50 hours plus, I've still come accross the occasional stutter and frame rate drop, but this is very rare and random and I can't relate it to anything particular.

Love those gifs. I'm 50+ hours in at level 13. Milling around the main city at the moment and I'm enjoying every second of it. I applied an XP adjustment to slow levelling down from the beggining. I just dont want it to end. For the first time in years I spent all day Saturday and Sunday playing.

It's amazing that when I first loaded the game a few weeks ago I was like meh. It seems okay, but the controls sucked. Now I'm in full on addict zombie mode like I was with Warcraft in 2006.

I'm. Sick. Of. Rain!

None stop, not had more than half a day in game without rain for the last 10 hours I've played. It's driving me insane!!!!!

Anyway, enjoying it still. I sadly just don't have more than an hour at a time to play at the moment. Got a long weekend coming up so hoping to clock some hours up then.

Yep,

I've just started new game +.

Getting straight back into it... even though I finished it few weeks earlier I'm enjoying it over again.

Really is an incredible game. I'm excited and hope the future brings more titles like this... I felt last 3-4 years for me have been stagnant in gaming aside a few good titles.

I'm sick of rain too! The game looks absolutely gorgeous when it is sunny, and totally average when it is overcast.

Yep like real life lmao, when it's raining here I cba, I want sunny shores and hoes in the witcher!

I have realized, I hate games like this. After completing it, all other games feel like meh, can't even get into another game properly now :(

Maby round 3 :p

What sort of frames mate at what res and hz?
I am contemplating this myself. I have it on the PS4 but would like the full eye candy. I'm just that sort of person  lol

Only played for about half an hour and it was mostly at 60fps, capped FPS because monitor is only 1080p 60hz. It dipped now and again to around 56/57 in the cities. Very smooth and great looking. :)

Rest of specs, 2500k at 4.6 and 16gb ram.

I might give this another go, I forgot what website I bought it on though

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I think quite a few bought it from there.
