The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

1.11 is live now:)

Official v1.11 changelog not up yet at cdprojektred (link) but dsogaming has the full changes.

Yet again I'm highly impressed with the effort put into Witcher 3, my GOTY.

Most of the fixes are for Heart of Stone. I mix this DLC up with card game HearthStone ;) Not unlike the bigger mix up to be had with "YouTube Red" if you miss the "You" bit off

Hoping someone could please help me out, had to reformat my system so lost my game save. I wasn't far into it but I don't want to start over I had just finished "wandering in the dark". If you have any save close to that, I would be really grateful.

Come back to this incredible game for the expansion, so pleased to get back into the world.

The only thing I find annoying is (and it is minor I guess):
Novigrad doesn't react to the assassination of Radovid if you go down that path, "long live Radovid" indeed.

I keep getting this problem of starting a new game and playing for days at a time and burning out, then I leave it for a couple of weeks and can't get back into the game. I never did complete the main storyline, plus the quest log fail bugs kept putting me off.

Yeah I thought that....they kept mentioning things like "long live Radovid and "under Radovids orders"....im thinking, uhh he's dead?

The game doesn't really react to much tbh. I just aggro'd a ghoul and entered a village, and women were still doing their washing as we fought amongst them!

But yeah, I think the political side of the game was a bit lacking tbh. Would have liked a lot more conspiring and intricate quests to do with the war and Radovid.

When you complete the main story it gives a message saying something along the lines of, you can carry on playing but the events of the final quests are ignored. So I guess that holds true with the expansion, bit of a shame I guess.

Spend way too much time running about looking for people to get Gwent cards off lol.

I entered the first tournament yesterday, no one really seemed to know who I was except that woman. The first game I played, the dwarf dude played a card with "Geralt of Rivia" on it :P

Had a major issue fighting in the the Witch hunters quarters as part of the screen/building blanked out and I was left fighting blind. Unknown to me, Sims exiting and restarting would have sorted this out.

I have an issue with resuming the game after i've minimized it - sometime it'll crash and take out my gpu drivers as well, locking my 970 at 550mhz or something like that. Only a reboot solves it. Think it's more a driver issue than the game itself, though witcher is the only game its happened on. Fun :p

Finally started on the dlc and really enjoying it so far,

Just finished all the
Wedding quest stuff and really enjoyed seeing 'Geralt' in a new light, quite a few funny moments with random people pulling faces i.e the halfling shaking his head when your going to show your 'big side' and the womens face when you strip off to dive for the shoe.

CDR stepped up with the cutscene with Shani

Going to try finishing it tomorrow.

Started HOS yesterday and while it is good I got a bit frustrated with it. Ive never died so much in Witcher 3 and now there is a unskipable long load time after each death which grates. Not sure whether they have ramped the difficulty up or nerfed my current swords build, Quen seems kinda useless now.

I can always knock the difficulty down from DM i suppose but Ill try some different build first.

Have you updated to 1.11? I understand they rebalanced a few of the boss fights in that as they were a bit hard. I'm not that far through HOS but while I've found a couple of the fights hard I wouldn't say I've struggled any more than the main game.
