The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

so i started this again.

currently on lvl15, not even done some of the lvl 10 story missions. done almost almost all side quests in velen/white orchard. im currently sitting on 40K crowns and 400 florens. which i find crazy. ive not sold any alchemy supplies either im on 60 weight with JUST alchemy supplies.. got enough to make any bomb 3x over. + more.

the only mod that would help me earn more money is auto loot. This mod will auto loot anything in a small radius around you when you press a certain button. I use it to save picking up Every loot from every monster/Bandit. i dont think its cheating as such but, if you used it a lot in cities it "could be"

put this way i have over 150 water 150 steaks 100 chickens etc just from looting.

the only thing im using my monry on is gwent cards or anything that could start a new quest.

if you interested in this mod see tags

so i've set this auto loot up so when ever i press A on my controller (sprint) it will autoloot the surrounding area. this mean on horseback when running down the road you can just hit A every so often to pick up herbs without getting off.

downside
in citys if you try to sprint it will try to autoloot. if guards see you it will not autoloot but give you a warning to cancel. ofc if you do not cancel you will be killed.

it also loots through walls i think, but the radius is fairly small. say a qauter of an inn in whiter orchard.

Not played this for a while now so out of the loop with mods if any new decent ones have come out.

I've got a few ATM from files I had saved - auto loot, fairprice merchants.

Any suggestions on others to try out? Also my sweetfx has been deleted probably due to patches and suggestions on a sweetfxbto try think my previous one was kputts.

These are probably the top current working mods out at the moment. The only other big one people rave about is the SuperTurboLightingMod (STLM) but I used it and it's too inconsistent and the DOF is way too intense, at least on a 40" monitor lol.

But the 10 in this video I think do nothing but enhance and don't over do anything. :)

Got to do all those quests that reward a level 6 sword. :D

Urgh, I know right! Mind you, I'm still only level 22. And using basic Witcher gear, some superior. Still, on the second hardest difficulty, I melt enemies with ease. I should really bump it back up to death march. But I get frustrated, as then groups of low level enemies still have the upper hand on me with stupid hit stun. Which rages me.

Did you play the DLC yet? Many more hours play time with that my friend

Get Hearts of Stone, it is one of the best expansions ever made. After that you can join us in waiting for Blood and Wine.

Yeah, I will doubtless get HoS at some stage. Looking forward to it, but need a break now I think. So many days when I thought of little else other than Geralt's life! :)

Anyone here having issues with the latest version of SweetFX and Windows 10? I cannot get the game to launch when I use the custom dxgi.dll file that you rename Reshade64.dll to. The game crashes straight after you click "Play". I think it might have something to do with the DirectX runtimes on Windows 10, but I cannot find any way of updating or repairing these. I know others are using SweetFX quite happily so I really don't get why it doesn't work for me.

I know that Fraps, the Steam overlay (even though I'm not playing through Steam), and the GoG Galaxy overlay can interfere too so these are all disabled. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really want SweetFX to work again. The game looks so much better with the profile I was using.

ok im pretty bored of fallout 4 now and this is next on the list. Where is the cheapest place these days? Steam have it for £25 which doesnt seem too bad but the scrooge in me would like it under 20

I swear somebody in here mentioned a mod to auto win at Gwent but I can't find it anywhere.

It's for my girlfriend, despite trying to teach her she doesn't get it, but for some reason wants to complete all quests. Women right?

But I would get the steam version if I were you. The game offers 150-200 hours of highest quality entertainment, makes Fallout 4 look very poor in comparison.

Gwent is really not that hard..just let her play few games and she will get the rules..
CDP made even a tutorial video she can watch:

so far 171 hours & around 8% in. from memory.

I love the side quests & activities

that makes no sense, like at all.

.....

completed this tonight. 40 hours. Like a poster above the last couple of quests I just had to power through, the game was seriously starting to drag.

The main story is just too long, and the new characters towards the end seriously not that rewarding. I liked it though, but Witcher 2 sits better for me overall.

I'm playing at 1080 x 1200 with most things set to high (plus i5 2500) on my Radeon 270x with 2GB video ram... Seems fine for the most part...

I have an i3 and the 270X. Nearly eveything on ultra, apart from nvidea hair works, thats all turned off. Shadows on high.

I've put 150 odd hours into the game, with probably only 3 or 4 crashes. Since I downloaded the DLC im getting crashes very few minutes. Unplayable at the moment. Possibly something to do with Ati drivers and win 10.

No crashes for me here, similar amount of hours in and only started about 4 weeks ago. I am using the beta Win10 Radeon Drivers.

Yea that was my issue too! I would say the last 3rd just felt really padded out fir no reason and almost ruined the game for me! I stopped doing sife stuff or else i wouldnt have seen the story through. Too long for its own good imo, and it seems the case for a lot of games these days

I seem to have created a weird bug in skellige. There's now an npc called sven that will respawn and attack me every time i go to one specific village, i can kill him (even managed to aard him off a cliff on one occasion) but as soon as i walk far enough away and go back, he'll return exiting his house with his sword drawn. Doh.

That's simply not possible. Unless you're role playing by walking everywhere, talking to all NPC's and reading every single text there is...

I'm about 60 hours in, on the final quarter of the main story. I've got a shed tonne of side missions to do and contracts etc. But still, not enough for another 60 hours I'd say.

I'd almost go as far to say you're telling porkies...
