The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

lol almost all mods will break on any title if it gets patched...... it's not just witcher so i don't see the issue. As per anyone who mods a lot you simply don't update and use the mod friendly patch that everyone will use even if that requires a downgrade.

Just finished the main storyline and first 'playthrough', took me 60 hours. I feel like I missed a ton of content along the way but wanted to see how it finished before I moved onto something else (eg fallout). Really enjoyable game, deserved the awards it picked up.

Tried for the second time to get into this, again when i get to the part of the story when you are looking for dandylioni zone out. So boring doing missions in the cities for scraps of information, has put me off playing again.

Guys just about to start this game, 2 quick questions, if i have never played witcher 2 before, and decide to start game without a imported save, will i miss anything from the game, i mean locked stuff, features etc and dont get to see everything that is in the game, also, if i choose a lower difficulty setting to play the game, will i also miss on not seeing stuff, i mean harder quests or monsters etc ? or do i get to see everything that game has to offer regardless what difficulty i chouse, thx

Difficulty does not affect what you see, but I would suggest trying hard (blood and broken bones) it is a good challenge and more fun than smashing on easy

As for save import, if you do not import than some characters from TW2 that could survive will be dead and so you will not meet them, but nothing super major

But you should play Witcher 2 first because it is fantastic and then follow from Witcher 3.

Ok thx, i have limited game playing time really, i do actually have witcher 2 but not installed or played yet, will it take along time to complete that, and does witcher 3 need a complete save game to work and save people in witcher 3 ? cheers

Thank God I paid 72p for this, if it was a physical copy it would go in the bin, more of the same and graphically average.

That's my review.

Kind of want to try the expansion now, finished the main quest at launch soo wondering if its easy to jump back in or should i replay the game?

I cant remember my level but i got to a point where gaining skill points felt meh as i didnt really need or want any of the skills on offer

I restarted the main game to play the expansion and kinda regretted it because it took me ages to get the minimum level to play the expansion lol, but if you are patient and have the time it is worth doing.

There is also an option to start a new game already levelled up to play the expansion

Got this in the weekend and after about 5 min of playing I get 'Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware'

Updated drivers still no luck

any ideas?

I5 3570k 4.2ghz

Oh really? How would that auto catch up system work for story choices etc?
