I'll concur, final level requirement is 26 I think and I'm at 37 now and just finishing the main quest after doing all the ? marks. The problem is the addon adds more ? that you can level up on before you have finished the main quest...

Started playing W3 again and been exploring the outskirts of Novigrad, come past an alchemist in a cementary but had no talk option with him so used google. Found out that save and reload should work, which it did. But rather a few also said that this alchemist bought trophies for better prices then others so I thought I grab those I have in the chest and sell them, only to find out his prices was not as good. The Smithy in Novigrad bought them for a better price. Anyone know if this is something that been changed ? Just me being curious though, since I already sold them. 
Another thing I noticed though is that no merchant wanted to buy the Foglet Trophy I have, checked 7 different places, including the one over at King of Beggers and a loan shark that I come past, would thought either buy anything but nope, wasn't the case. Can this trophy be sold to anyone or just a waste of space with it ? Well, it's in the chest again so wont really matter I guess, just being curious again.

I found it pretty easy; on Normal difficulty especially as you get to the higher levels.

Just started to get into the game 
, never really played much of it or any of the other witchers either. Exellent so far.
My only gripe is SLI performance. Top card is at 80-85% bottom card at 90-95% maxed out. Mixture of high-Ultra settings.
Anyone know any fixes? Just that 20% gpu power is being wasted. Which I feel I could put into better settings for the game.

I'm locked at 85fps 1440p. I play 85fps for these types of games with a controller. That's with a mixture of high to ultra settings, no hairworks. It runs about 95 with v-sync off but I'm still loosing GPU usage.
Can't believe how hard it is to find Balisse Fruit in Valen or Novigrad, or rather, can't find them at ALL ! had to fast travel to White Orchard to find them in the end.
Does anyone know if they even exist in Valen/Novigrad ??

I formatted my PC and didn't even think if GOG Galaxy had cloud saving. If not, I think I've just lost around 40 hours of play
GOG does'nt have the cloud saving feature, so without a back up, you're stuck.
How far into the game are you? I or someone else may have a save file as near as possible.
Ah nevermind, it's a good enough game that I'll work my way through again.

You've just lot around 40 hours of play, I lost my 150 hour play through the same way. Luckily I had completed the game but still, I was looking forward to doing a NG+ when all the DLC is out.
Steam has made me lazy with backing up save games.
Couldn't find any herbalist in Valen/Novigrad that sold it, hence had to go back to White Orchard for them.

Has anyone else's performance deteriorated? I am up to about 70 hours now and I'm getting so much pop in, low res distant textures and shimmering that I can't enjoy playing it anymore.
Has anyone got any ideas? I'm on the latest patch (1.12.1 I think) and have the latest GPU drivers. I've also done a fresh install of the game.
I did mess about with Reshades and editing the settings and render ini files but wasnt happy with the results. I lost my backup settings which is why I did the fresh install after completely removing all Witcher 3 files, including in the my documents folder.
