The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Looks like CDPR are letting people buy all four Gwent decks separately, you just need to provide a screenshot of proof you got the season pass or one of the expansions.

Ah yeah was just coming on to post this. I did this with the last expansion and it was all good. Though as has been mentioned its probably cheaper to just buy the PS4 version with the cards and then sell the game code, but not sure I can be bothered with that though.

Looks like you may be able to order both sets so wondering whether to order the lot again and then see if I can sell the ones I already have, they seem to go for a bit more than I paid on ebay and while I'm paying the postage on one pack.

Witcher 3 is probably my favourite game of all time and Hearts of Stone was a wonderful addition, but this is going to be something else. It's meant to be about the size of Witcher 2 and the trailer looks great.

I've pre-ordered the PC version from game.co.uk, should complete my Gwent set :)

Does anyone know if the key you get works with GoG? I have the GoG copy of Witcher 3. Not a big deal if not really I'm as sucker for the cards haha.

Yeah it comes in the box, it was initially a GOG key but you could use it on the Witcher website to exchange for a Steam or Origin key if you preferred.

oh ok, so in the box is something that then leads on to giving you a choice of platform?

If its the same as Hearts of Stone you can choose to get a code for GOG, Origin or Steam.

I've already got the season pass so will be selling my code on eBay as soon as it arrives, can't resist the merchandise to complete my collectors edition :)

From previous page, hopefully it be the same with this DLC. :)

So what's the cheapest way to get the expansion pass and gwent decks?

From what I can tell - It's buying the Game Blood and Wine, the GOG hearts of stone, then separately ordering the gwent decks for hearts of stone?

You might just be lucky , as I was yesterday, and be able to pick up a boxed copy of the digital download for Hearts of Stone from the rain forest, for which it clearly says "Box contains Hearts Of Stone Download Code + 2 Gwent Card Decks".

It is being sold on there by CD Projekt Red.

Can't really say until we know how much cdpr are selling the standalone decks for. Last time it was only slightly cheaper than buying a retail copy

Started Hearts of Stone last night with the premade character

Its been ages since i played so choosing all the abilities feels a bit overwelming so not really sure whats the best way to go. Wish i had time to just replay the whole game, may restart briefly just for tutorial sake

Any tips? Its been too long!

Just ordered both Gwent decks (all four) and it came to £20.72 with economy shipping so is not too bad if you are buying both. (It did warn me no taxes were applied though)

If you were just getting the Northern Realms and Nilfgard set it would work out as £13.70 so probably worth spending an extra £1.30 for the retail copy from game.

Subtotal £14.04
Shipping & Handling £6.68
Total: £20.72
