So this is the trailing glitches I was on about, seems to only happen when out in the open greenery areas of the map and only in daytime when the sun is out. Happens with DLSS on or off so it's not that as it turns out. Only since the new patch.

A fix for hairworks - Yay!

I think I fixed that trailing glitch posted earlier. Did have RT set to performance (the new mode from the patch), so set it to Quality and not seen the glitch since.

No change in fps.... Ah well one of those things.

Back in Kaer Morhen and can't believe how much nicer this area of the map looks vs Velen/Isle/Novigrad etc. Even the interiors are lit up really nicely compared to internals in those other areas.

Going through the final prep missions right now then onto the DLCs - Such a brilliant game.

I've broken my main quest due to using the fast travel mod - going to have to replay a lot of it again (I'm at defend Kaer Morhen from the Wild Hunt)

some quests you have to walk through a door or exit a cave for them to properly complete. If you finish the quest and fast travel out it breaks the quest line

Damn will have to keep an eye on that and only fast travel when out in the open. Maybe it's the particular mod I've got but I can't fast travel in some instances, liekw hen in a quest or in certain areas it says cannot fast travel right now so I think the developer of the mod I am using accounted for this or something to stop the quest breaking.

Just ensure you fast travel between quests not during them.

Playing the DLC now for the first time (completed original game when it came out on ps4, just finished again on pc), first thing I did was unlock Sword and Armour enchanting - having a flaming sword is pretty cool! The whirl/rend buff is bonkers good too.
