The girlfriend surprised me with this little gem. A 1332 piece lego set which creates a T1 camper van. Awesome! Now i just need to sober up to start building!

Got loads of chocolate this year - big box from Green and Black's, some Lindt, and some stuff from Hotel Chocolat (doubt any of my work trousers will fit next week )

Got the G&B's, some perfume, a big Lush gift box, and some Yankee Candles from my OH (perfect presents)
From other people:

Slippers, PJs, bath/body stuff, couple of Amazon vouchers, little bit of money (about £40), couple of books, more candles, socks, scarf, gloves, wine. Usual Christmassy stuff.

My OH is very happy with his new toolbox to go along with his new De Walt drill and his Lego Technic that I found for him

My parents are divorced, so going to my dad's later for dinner, so I expect will have a couple more things to add (I know we've got a new doormat for the porch - exciting times but we did need one!) have told him that if he couldn't think of anything to get us, he could give us some money towards a new washer which is on its last legs. When did I become so grown up?

Can now add a hotel break for two for me and my OH, the doormat, and a huge box of stuff from thorntons online which comprises of 6 full sized boxes of thorntons chocolates. Also got my brother's gifts which is a hotel chocolat box set and a very hungry caterpillar mug. The diet starts in march or April after I've got through all this chocolate...!

Final present from my dad was 2 planks of wood. WTF you might say, taped to the wood was a card however, the card explained that this was a scale model of what my living room floor could look like So my dad is offering to pay for a new floor which i desperately needed, as my dog has pretty much ruined the carpet thats down at the minute. Epic!

I thought about that but its probably less hassle to pop into the shop than source a magnet that might not work.

I got exactly what I needed and wanted.

A new jacket and gloves for winter, no need to rely on my 6 year old hoodie I love so much haha.

A Turtle Power tshirt from my best friend and a history book on people that changed the world from my GF.

I am content and happy

I mainly got a vermin infestation

By which I mean I got loads of Games Workshop Skaven models (enough for a sizeable army as one of the presents was the Army Deal*), some blu-rays, toiletries etc

However possibly the best thing was seeing my mum, who is not technically minded at all, getting a Kindle, and getting to grips with it in short order and really liking it (my dad got her the kindle, my brother and I got her various accessories for it, and books).



*Which was good as I was sorely tempted to get the Army deal myself
