Wish Kindle has a select a book randomly option As got c225 books. 99% are non fiction and overwhelming to decide which one to read.
Can’t sleep again. Might get up and go and listen to the wireless for a bit.

Just had a chat with my neighbour and he told me that he was going to a funeral.
His friends brother had a heart attack in a shopping centre in York.
Me, being great with people, came out with the reply of "Is he dead?".

Was rather surprised to learn that the ‘floating dumpster fire’ meme dates from 2018. Like, wow, we had no idea how much worse things could get…
It just occurred to me that that particular meme would be appropriate for the absolute ****-show of an LNG carrier I currently find myself on, so I thought I’d download a copy, Photoshop the ship’s name onto it, print it out and leave it on the whiteboard in the ECR. Might give some of the boys a laugh at least, if not the management.

Just woke up, having slept for around 28 of the last 32 hours. One of those hours was a spectacular vom episode- I reckon I could have puked over the garage, no problem.

No idea. On the plus side, if I did, it has been rejected, most forcefully.
I was up for about 90 minutes in daylight on Saturday. Went back to bed at 6pm saturday, woke up at 2AM!
