To top it my rebuilt knee is hurting like hell because of the cold like it does in November and not allowing me to hobble without pain. Sigh. Only another 50yrs of this.... Lol.
On the plus side it's like living in the garden of Eden. Less naked humans....

For lunch I've gone to Tesco and bough a meal deal with this new blue coloured Pepsi.....bought it out of curiosity but had regrets as soon as I left the store as I expect it to taste very artificial.

So this new Pepsi has a very strong citrus flavour and it's not too bad however after the initial hit of citrus your left with that artificial flavour in your mouth that's hard to shift. I won't be buying this again.

Having said I don’t want a promotion, and I don’t, I seem to have ended up stuck with another role at late notice. It’s pretty prestigious in my field. Pay is reasonable, not that I need any money, added workload will be annoying. Will be in a position to drop it by the end of the year hopefully if I really don’t get on with it. An unnecessarily stressful few days in what is meant to be my time off.

For years and years I’ve never managed to lose a card, yet last month I managed to leave my current account debit card in a hotel room in Glasgow after checking out following a night out. I knew I’d done it as I remember seeing it on the desk in the room as I was packing and thinking “I’d better not forget this”, then suddenly found I didn’t have it when I went to pay for a sandwich just before I got the train home. There was no time to go back to the hotel so I just had to leave it and report it to the bank, and go through the ballache of changing all my card details on the myriad accounts I have.

And now, barely a month later, I’ve somehow lost my wallet, and everything in it. Debit card, multiple credit cards, driving licence, work ID, etc. Last time I remember having it was at one of those self service petrol stations on Friday, so I’m convinced it’s either in the house, or in the car somewhere, but can I **** find it.

Started work on the new job role today. It’s a lot of work, but I think it’ll be manageable. It’s going to eat into my own time a bit, something I said I wouldn’t allow, so I guess we’ll see how it goes. Depends how much I lose on various deductions by the time I get my paycheck I guess. I’ve been a bit up and down emotionally over it, but I think that’s settling.

Windows 11 is great. Can't complete installation cos it can't find your network. Do the skip network trick, open windows, still can't find network please update drivers on wireless card.....FFS
