Hope you manage to keep them going throughout winter, somehow as a teenager I somehow became the local hedgehog rescuer, used to get calls on the landline that someone had found one and ask for me to go and rescue them. Despite not being even remotely qualified, but I love them. Very rewarding when they survive and can be released, but they should generally be hibernating around this time.

Also on a slightly unrelated topic, one of my dogs a long time ago was an absolute idiot and fetched me a hedgehog that he wanted me to throw in a game of catch, most stupid vet bill of all time.

Yeah, they should be. They're badly underweight, which is probably why they were out in daylight when I first saw them. I was hoping a hedgehog rescue place would take them, but no such luck. We're getting expert advice from a local hedgehog rescue though, and they'll be helping us monitor them throughout. The idea is to feed them up, and then hopefully put them down to hibernate when they're big enough before releasing them next Spring.

I won a 32" Samsung Odyssey G6 through a tech raffle site last night. Quite pleased as I've never won anything like that. Don't think it will even fit on my desk in hindsight so not sure why I bought a ticket. I'll probably end up selling it.

Just won a 4060 Ti PC build from the same company. I've opted for the £750 cash alternative though and will put it towards other upgrades

So, anyway, none of the Hedgehog rescue places have any spaces so we now have these two little guys for the winter:

and "Twigly" - she was more co-operative
(They were named by nephews, who are 9 and 11. My sister wanted to call the second one "Gone"

Yeah, we have parasite treatment and they've been checked out by someone what knows things.

Exploited the black Friday sales and reordered some bits I bought in last week to return against the higher value receipt. Forgot I ordered them on my 0% card tho, lol. So +40£ to balance sheet, negative 200 to cashflow.

I always used to mock my dad when he carried a mouse with his laptop and complained if he'd forgotten it.

I'm now having to use my laptop sans mouse as i'm working off my lap and absolute hate it for anything other than general browsing!

Like trackpads that endup with finger proto-blisters.

Always carried a corded usb mouse when travelling or in the office. Still always left hand on right hand mouse even though I’m right handed.

I think a trackball is the better option for a laptop, but yeah, laptop without is painful.

Pretty much everything has VIM keybinds for me, but appreciate that's not for most people, but rarely touch a mouse these days.

1. She did. Apparently men aren’t that nice unless they want something I honestly was trying to not be my usual grumpy social skill deficient self.
