USA sad outcome 2015 https://www.cleveland.com/cityhall/2015/03/can_you_tell_a_real_gun_from_a.html
Federal law requires that toy or imitation guns be sold with orange tips on the barrels, but the tips can be removed or painted. Such was the case with the gun pictured here, which is missing its orange tip.

In November, 12-year-old Tamir Rice was shot and killed when Cleveland police officer Timothy Loehmann mistook Tamir’s airsoft- pellet gun for a real one. Tamir’s toy gun also lacked the telltale orange tip.

The shooting stirred debate over the dangers of realistic toy guns and whether laws should require manufacturers to design them in a way that clearly differentiates them from real firearms.

Have you ever seen a serious 'follow the police documentary' - all of the 999/motorway/whatever series, that you watch bites of, surfing for something better (during the omni present adverts)
present these artificial, bigger than life(many are overweight too) personalities, just attract the wrong kind of recruit -

Did cressda ok that kind of thing but Rowley thinks it is good PR

This is disgraceful behaviour by the police. Because an autistic girl said to her mother, in her house, that the police woman looks like a lesbian like her nana, this police woman went over the top demanding an arrest.

Lesbian Nan officer back on twitter, this time going ham with the pepper spray:

*** video removed due to swearing ***

Clearly a well trained, competent person with exactly the right temperament for high stress work whose efforts single handedly de-escalated the situation

Joking aside, notice how not a single male officer resorted to anything remotely similar., not even having the spray out just in case. Now I realise that the original officers involved had hit the "Oh Poop, we need help NOW!" button on their radios when the crowd closed in, which does make it understandable why the police who turned up to help were aggressive (to break up the crowd) but this officer genuinely looked unhinged, thank Christ she's not armed is all could think watching that.

With two events now out in the open regarding this officer and their conduct, I would imagine that their Force would be looking into their suitability for frontline work....................or ignoring it completely like last time.

Imagine her with a gun. Sack it or a desk job.

I worked with some female officers, who would almost always interject themselves into a volitile situation, escalate it beyond our ability to deescalate it and then back away as we all got to face the wrath of said prisoner/s.

Like the creature above, they were dangerous and to be avoided at all costs.

Why the hell she is wandering off at the end herself is just bizarre.

She's asking to be involved in a further altercation as she appears to be looking for one. That just results in her colleagues having to back her up and therefore be stretched further apart making them all more vulnerable if things escalate

Someone needs to be having words with her. I'd put money on the fact no one wants to be working with her on shift.

not sure how snapchat is scot-free, as part of that judges ruling .. or are we waiting for online harms bill
I'd expect media to be following up.

eg. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-67177330

Children under 12 made up a quarter of the total number of victims, the charity said.

Girls were targeted in 83% of cases where the gender was known.

Snapchat was used in 26% of instances, while Meta's Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp were used in 47% of cases where the means of communication was recorded.

In total, 150 different games, apps, and websites were used to target children.

Social media is a no-go for any child under age of 16 imo, companies don't do enough to protect the children.
