This is why people are losing respect for the police...

Dozens of Videos on twitter now of Leeds - Multiple police riot vans being attacked, Police having to evacuate the scene due to the attacks etc, bonfires in the middle of the roads blocking them, thousands of people out on the streets, local businesses being attacked etc.

It appears (from what we've seen so far) that its a full scale riot and that the Police have completely lost control and, for their own protection, lots have had to leave - Shocking stuff!

Apparently (according to the Twitter rumour mill) it's Romanians (or maybe more likely Roma) and sparked by social services taking kids away from a family after a child was brought into hospital with a non-accidental head injury.

There's also a bit of a smaller riot in London because some Bangladeshis are protesting a man being shot by police in Bangladesh.

With the Leeds riots, plenty of them have their faces uncovered, I wonder if the police will look at locating them and charging them for the damage caused (and ideally the home office should look at deporting some of them back to Romania, these are exactly the sort of immigrants we don't need and most of them probably wouldn't be able to move here as skilled workers).

That appears to be the initial spark for all this, but since that initial conflict its been taken over by "locals" and grown much wider and much more violent from the videos I'm seeing. There's a few livestreams on Youtube with constant twitter vid updates.

Just a little more on the Roma being the initial spark, after the initial attack on the police car the riot moved away very quickly and the Police were able to recover that vehicle. That "seemed" to be the end of the violence by the Roma but it emboldened lots of people completely uninvolved with that community (and from multiple other communities) to kick off.

Anyway, even more Buses on fire now (it was the same bus but in daylight and nighttime so it looked like more than 1), houses at risk due to the fire but the Fire Brigade won't go near due to the riot. My guess is that this will all burn out and by the morning the Police, who "should" have been capturing as much Twitter/Insta etc video as possible, will start knocking on doors of those idiots involved within the next few days as most have got their faces plastered all across multiple videos.

It'll be interesting to see what the new Home Secretary says about this too, as her first big "problem" in power.

EDITED - now there's a bit more info

She'll do nothing. They'll receive pathetic sentences and the cycle will repeat as people will be emboldened.

Apparently some Romanian kid fell out of a window / pulled their kids from school causing the kickoff. Lots of Eastern Europeans according to people local to the area.

That was earlier, now a bunch of others have joined them. The two people filmed setting fire to the bus don't look Romanian, more like people of Pakistani or Bangladeshi origin.

Perhaps, probably likely others will join in.

Although romas are quite dark skinned, so would be difficult to distinguish from skin colour alone.

Gov needs to start deporting anyone involved in the rioting and damage.

should be a 0 crime tolerance for immigration

It's these two guys I've seen posted on twitter and in some footage:

Just seen the clip, there were a couple of white people joining in as well it appears, with one shirtless and the other burning his rubbish. I couldn’t tell you those two ethnicities, not that it matters, but the one at the back could certainly be Eastern European and the one in the blue shirt could be Roma or Pakistani. Neither are Bangladeshi that’s for sure.
