Her insurance will cover this to a certain amount, probably limited to X million so she may still be liable for some of it. The thing is she will have a hard time getting the relevant insurance again should she wish to appeal.
Umbrella policies used by HNW individuals often have a limit of tens of millions, she'd still pay a deductible. Generally the annual premium for an umbrella policy that has a $10 million limit is about $10,000. Very negligible stuff for celebrities. All of them have these policies.

Reasonably though, the actual award, if any at all, will likely be significantly lower than even what basic policies cover. There are also other policies that HNW individuals take that cover the deductible of existing policies, as well as other additional out of pocket costs.


What sort of insurance covers you for this? Never thought it'd be possible
There are umbrella insurance policies that cover these stuff.
