I suspected that Depp was confident that he would win the case when he came to the UK to do his concert.

I'm glad justice has been served to Depp, but I'm also equally glad that this is all now over.

Absolutely not. It was a "drop the mike" moment. He said his truth and regardless of the outcome, turned his back on the trial and just got on with his life. Even with all the obvious lies from Turd, due to the current state of the world the result was still very much unpredictable.

There's always porn industry. I'm sure they'll love having her

Homely bitch

Get back in your box you manipulative bitch

Lying cow

what planet is this bitch

What a vile woman she is.

Come on guys. We can show our appreciation for the truth coming out without these remarks. Plenty others have shown it without needing comments like this. We can do better :)

I'm grateful for this whole thing as not only did it remove Johnny depp from fantastic beats (he was such a poor choice) it also may mean we get a new pirates movie and it'll be given the love they deserve, as all the pirates movies after the 3rd have been a giant pile of turd on a bed.

Maybe jd won't go back to Disney, but fingers crossed he does and it's for a good script and a good send off for Jack sparrow.

Personally I disagree, simply because it's an insult only ever said about women and the fact she's a woman shouldn't add anything. She's vile. Why mention the sex at all? That's my view any way.

I think you are reading too much into that.

As an aside, as it isn't exactly the most reliable metric, according to Google "vile man" occurs twice as often as "vile woman" on the internet.

I would love Disney to re-hire JD simply to troll the woke. The problem with Disney in recent years is that they have wokified Star Wars and the Marvel franchises. Their share value has almost halved from a high of $185 down to just over $100 this month.

I am a huuuuuuuuuuge fan of Disney, but for me, the Disney how I've always known it e.g. Jungle Book, Snow White, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast etc, plus their hybrid stuff such as Bedknobs, Fantasia and Enchanted. Then of course, Lilo & Stitch trumps everything as it's all about hula girls and aliens :D I even liked their more recent Pixar stuff such as Tangled, Frozen, Moana and Ralph Breaks the Internet, but they stopped doing those kinda films after Ralph.

Much more recently, they did Encanto, and that's looking promising for me from Disney.

Lose the woke agenda and keep it up :)

Am genuinely glad JD won due to watching 90% of the trial - the evidence on his side and lack of on AH's side made it very clear to me. Even the evidence presented on AH's side was full of holes.

But will agree with Apex here, some of the comments on here are very much gender biased. We should take this as an example of innocent until proven guilty not women are this and that whilst using gender based derogatory terms.

But she is a cold hearted vile woman. And what rubbish are you on about insult only said to woman. Plenty of men have been called vile too.

You seem to be very easily offended on somebody else's behalf but taking away from a simple statement because someone writes either woman or man at the end of an insult is rather odd.

Just to add he was my fav our of the three to play in fantastic beasts.

And it's more of an awful thing to say you are greatful that his life was ruined for 6 years just cause you didn't like how he portrayed a character in a movie. That is much worse than any insult above.

But people are speaking about one very specific woman. I'm male and I've had my ex GF call me a Bitch before. That isn't gender specific, neither is vile. Cow yeah, it is most commonly female and I've never heard that used for a male insult but if you are suggesting that you shouldn't call someone a cow maybe talk to some females about this particular person because plenty of female work colleagues have been using that term for the last 7 weeks without worrying about it offending female's as a whole.

But again nobody is painting all woman as these things. They are specific to the context of one female and so are not being utilised as a gender based derogatory term. Also why are you concerned if something is directed at one specific person by gender, if it is derogatory then it is already offensive by nature.

I mean i'm not sure exactly what you are getting at here. I would think 'most' people would agree that 'bitch' is more female specific than male, yes people do call men bitches etc but it's largely percieved as being a term aimed at females.

Again with 'Cow'. Yes women may say this when referring to another woman but it is gender specific. Horrible person, trash human being, awful person would all apply to AH from everything presented but no, people go to the gender specific insults. Not exactly a massive leap.

Edit: Actually should say, refer to people how you want. I know how I see things, other people may vary. You do you.

Ultimately it doesn't really matter, awful person/cow or whatever. She is what she is, and the words are aimed squarely at her and her alone - Which is fine since she in the most literal sense, is all of those things by her own making. As mentioned, both men and women alike of sane mind think the same about her.

Calling her as such doesn't automatically make someone anti-women or whatever else. The context at which these words have been used are very specific to this one person and this trial - There is no broader notion to be applied and anyone who turns it into that is only seeing it that way.

This is human nature by default, and will always be that way for as long as people like her remain in the public eye and try to remain relevant by stirring up people through lies and hate.

I don't see where the issue is, some people use those words/terms, fine, some don't, I don't personally in any context - I do however see that people are making it an issue by applying those words to a wider context when it very much isn't meant as such. I guess this is destined to happen as we live in an instant information era where everything is applied to everyone regardless of context within individual bubbles if that makes sense.

Indeed. It's a blow to liars, and those who would twist the judicial system as a weapon against their victims. It's nothing to do with real abused people, or if it is it's only inasmuch as it supports the fact that the truth will out. It's hard to argue that JD wasn't the victim here, and he prevailed. That's only a problem for some in that he isn't a woman...

Verdict in, good result, time to move on!

I agree with what mrk said but also there is gender specifics here because she blatantly abused the vulnerable female card and JD had to air his dirty laundry to the world to clear his name, guilty until proven innocent. We are largely men on here so we see and are fearful of such gender specific double standards, more so than the issues of being female. I am scared of AH because she will go to hell and back to play the vulnerable female card because of what ever issues that plague her brain and although largely rare, there are plenty other women out there who will do the same.

These types tend to be vindictive - I doubt she'll just let this go.

I'm sorry Amber Turd is a vile woman. Who set out to destroy a man life or is she only a woman when its suits?

Over the case of this trail we found out he was abused by his mother. Also a woman.

Can't hide behind gender poltics on this one.

I still cant get that sound recording out of my head when Johnny was crying and moaning for his detox medication

Pure evil.

On a brighter note.

What a wonderful morning.

Think I will bath in my dior sauvage aftershave since it was one of the few companies that didn't hang Johnny out to dry.

Might have a Johnny.D movie marathon this weekend.

Hopefully he can start to clean up and move on. We have been robbed of his work for 6 years.

Lol Bruce you legend

Morgan Tremaine comes across as an actual nice guy. Short-ish video of him being interviewed by the DUI guy. Chatting about his time on the stand, Elaine, DUIguys and the worlds reaction to that 15 minutes of fame comment.
To be honest I have never heard of him before all this so will go on a little rabbit hole later to find out more about him
